ARE YOU SERIOUS?! (Natsu)

He lay on the ground, heaving, blood dripping from the wound in his chest. He was a survivor, along with Luce and Wendy. Everyone else was dead. They were forced to retreat, no time to grieve for their lost comrades. They had escaped, and for weeks had run from the enemy. They were attacked, and he had told them to run. Lucy refused, she would fight. They had fought, winning. Then, with one last attack, a deathly aura, aimed straight for Lucy and Wendy. He pushed them out of the way, and with a heavy heart, took the blow for them.

" L-Lucy, Wendy, promise me. Promise me you'll leave me here and safe yourselves. That you'll live on not for me, but for all of Fairy Tail."

"ARE YOU SERIOUS?! I'm not going to leave you here. You can't sacrifice yourself stupid!'

"Um, Lucy-San, Natsu-San already has sacrificed himself. We should respect his wishes..."

"No! Natsu, you can't leave us, were SURVIVORS! Yo-"

"Luce, please. The enemy reinforcements will be here any second. You have to live, don't you see? You have to live for Fairy Tail."

"bu-"

"No. Luce, I want this. I want you and Wendy to live. Not for me, but for Fairy Tail. I don't regret this."

Now here he lay, a light smile plastered on his face. His sacrifice is not in vain, Lucy and Wendy will live on, not for him, but for all of Fairy Tail. They may all be gone, but Fairy Tail will live on because of his sacrifice. So yes, Lucy, he is serious. Fairy Tail will live on.
