The dust from the blast surfaced, reveling the still dragon slayer. His right hand held his neck, as if putting pressure on an newly formed wound. He stood there, before dropping to his knees. Lucy rushed over to him, as did Wendy, while Erza ordered Gray to cover for the exhausted dragon slayer. Wendy ordered Lucy to lye him on his back while she checked his wounds.

"Dammit" He wheezed, pressing his hand firmer on his neck. Lucy saw the droplets of blood drip from in between his fingers, sprinkle to the floor.

"Wendy, his neck" Lucy stated, trying to pry Natsu's hand from his neck to get a better glance.

She removed his hand, only to be greeted with a gushing wound splattering blood everywhere. She pressed her hand firmly to his neck. Whatever hit him caught an artery. Wendy gasped, her magic wasn't working!

Crap.

Okay, think, just press your hand to the wound, it should stop bleeding.... right?

"It's not working!" cried Wendy, as Lucy began to panic. Shit!

Erza finished the leader off, re-quipping into her Hearts Cruz armor. She causally walked over to the supposedly exhausted dragon slayer, only to find the girls in a panic. Gray handed the girls his shirt, maybe that will stop the bleeding? Lucy pressed it to the wound.

Shit, Shit, Shitty, Shit, Shit!

Natsu sighed. It's not working. Nothings working. What's the point? He pushed Lucy's hand away to replace it with his own. It was snowy white, not it's usual tan color. He struggled to sit up, but was pushed back down by his team mates.

"Stop it Natsu, your making it worse"

"No i'm not"

"Yes, you are. Now stop moving around and killing yourself"

"I'm-"

"Stop moving! The more you move the more you bleed. The more you bleed the more you're closer to death"

"L-"

"The wound is gushing! Stop moving!"

Erza shook her head. She knew by the looks of him there was no use. And he knew too. He had already lost 3/4's of his blood supply. It was no use. He wouldn't be able to make it back to the town. She could understand Natsu's intentions, to use the last of his strength to sit up. She wishes he would fight it, not give up, but the Natsu looked at them, it wasn't he was giving up. It was acceptance, determination. He wasn't afraid, and wasn't giving up. If he had he would of been dead already. She glanced away, not wanting to watch her friend take his last breaths.
