Hola Everyone,
It's Monday and I am here with the next update. Thank you for your votes and comments. Means a lot.🙂🙂🙂
Without further ado, here is the next part of this story. Hope you like it :-**************************
STANDING BEFORE HIM WITH A RESPLENDANT SMILE ON HER FACE WAS NONE OTHER THAN THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE, HIS SONAKSHI.
For a moment Dev was not sure whether it was the reality or a dream, just this afternoon they had an argument and he was contemplating on talking to her the next day but right now the scene that was unfolding before him had befuddled him to no end. So confused was he that he did not know what to do, should he just go and take her into a bone crushing hug or should he just stand there waiting for her to speak, words were failing him at the moment.
Sonakshi on the other hand exactly could gauge what was going through his mind, she had expected the exact same reaction especially after the fight they had this afternoon and the way she had talked to him, but she had no other option as it was the only way to keep Dev unaware of what she had planned for him, she knew she would make up for her behaviour this afternoon in the best possible way.
Sonakshi moved towards Dev as he tried to speak "So...Sona..." he whispered but before he could continue Sonakshi put her finger on his lips "Shhh..." she hissed slowly as Dev was taken aback for a moment as she continued "Don't say anything Dev, just come with me" she said seductively moving her finger along his face as Dev's breathe quickened, never had he seen this side of Sonakshi and what was confusing him even more that she was in such an avatar after what happened between them this afternoon that too at his home.
She held his hand and moved towards the table which was placed near the window overlooking the garden that was dimly lit adding to the ambience. A faint slow music was playing in the background as they reached the table which had a candle placed on it along with a couple of coffee mugs. She pulled the chair for Dev and made him sit while she herself settled down on the chair placed opposite to his. She took his hand into her's as she picked up the coffee mug and handed it to him asking him to hold it with his free hand. Slowly he sipped the coffee, it tasted familiar.
"You know Dev after we had expressed our love to each other what was the best part of the day for me?" she asked as Dev moved his head sideways indicating he didn't as she continued "The coffee that we used to share every night before you dropped me home, gazing into the night sky spending time with each other talking anything and everything, just you and me" she said as both smiled and looked outside into the night sky, the stars witnessing the coffee as well as the love they shared.
"You know Dev I used to spend the whole day waiting for that time of the day when I would spend the time with you. When we used to talk to each other without any worry, without any filters" she said and paused as her grip on his hand tightened while she continued "I want to spend every day of my life sharing that coffee with you, talking to you about my whole day, listening to you, holding you, cuddling you, away from the hara-kiri of the whole world, even if it just 5 minutes of the day I want that time for myself, just you and me Dev" she said as Dev smiled, she could bet that she saw a few tears glisten his eyes. She got up from her chair and coming behind Dev she wound her arms around him from the back as she slowly turned his face and kissed away his tears. She slowly held his hand and made him get up from his chair as she moved with him towards his bed. She made him sit and switched on the bed lamp. A small table was kept near the bed but what stunned him was the box that was kept on it, it was the same box that used to be there in his mother's room. IT WAS THE BOX THAT WAS HOLDING HIS PAST.
