Overland Park, Kansas
We finally made it to our next house. It's another condo, it's not as nice as the last one but dick head John says were not staying long. Taelor says that we're going to Utah in 3 months or so. I heard it's top cause of death is suicide, that's awesome. *note sarcasm now* Taelor was talking about some city called West Valley, it's probably where we'll end up.
As for Ren, I'm a bit concerned about her. I don't believe it's a phase but it's probably going to be confusing for a while but I'm glad she's more comfortable. Yuto is happy that Ren is more content but I've had to smack Mark and Jae upside the head a few times for being asshats.
"Alright, don't burn the place down. Chandler and I will be back later." I yelled to whoever was in the condo as I pulled my jacket.
Chandler dragged me out of the house and down the street. He rambled on about the hot guy in his P.E. class.
"You can do better than some fuck boy." I glanced over at him.
"Yeah, and he's probably straight. Plus the fact we aren't staying too long. I'll never find love, I'll die alone." He stared up at the cloudy sky as we walked.
Our noses filled with the different smells of fast food places plus something sweet that I couldn't place.
Chandler jumped on me. "Come on let's go buy some food, I'm going to die if I don't get some french fries."
I looked up at the sign for the fast food place and pulled him off my back. "Rest in peace, Chandler Michael Todd. Cause of death: French fry deprivation."
"You think you're so funny." He rolled his eyes, pulling his blond locks back into a ponytail.
"And if you want fries, I'm hilarious." I glared at him.
Chandler burst into fake laughter and started hitting my back. "God, you're so funny Sky, like you should be a comedian."
"I thought so." I opened the door to the fast food place.
"I just want some french fries." He muttered as he clung to me.
I sighed and pried him off my arm before walking to the counter.
"Hi, would you like to hear our special for today?" The girl behind the counter had shoulder length black hair and looked less than thrilled to be there.
"No thank you, I'd just like a large order of fries and a hot chocolate. To go please." I smiled.
"K, I'll get that for you. Your total is 3.42."
I opened my wallet and took out 4 dollars. "Donate the change to charity or some shit like that."
She smiled a bit as she put the change into a donation box on the counter. "I'll be right back with your order."
I looked back at Chandler, he was staring out the window. He looked confused and concerned with whatever he was looking at. I leaned back a bit, trying to see what Chandler was staring at. All I could see was cars passing by and the alleyway across the street. Chandler stumbled to the door and threw it open. He walked out like a drunk person.
The cashier sat down a bag and a cup of hot chocolate in front of me. "Have a nice day."
"Yeah, you too." I quickly picked up my order and went after Chandler.
He was about to step out into traffic just as I grabbed him by his blue shirt and jerked him back onto the sidewalk. He fell onto his ass and didn't seem fazed in the slightest.
"Chandler what the hell did you think you were doing?!" I yelled at him.
He blinked and then stared up at me. "I don't know, how did I get outside?"
"What the hell do you mean?!" I pulled him up by his shirt and stared into his green eyes. "You were staring out the window and then decided to go outside and try to get hit by that car! You aren't a chicken!"
Chandler rubbed his eyes. "What the hell? I'm serious Sky! I don't remember coming outside!"
"Whatever, here are your fries." I violently slammed the bag to his chest. "I'm going home."
"Sky, I'm telling the truth. Why would I run out into traffic? What would that help?" Chandler tried to keep up with me.
I quickly stopped and turned around, my ponytail hitting me in the eye. "I don't know what the hell possessed you to go pull some shit like that but..."
Chandler cut me off. "Possession, maybe I was possessed."
"You must be on some sort of crack if you think I'm going to believe that shit." I scoffed. "You're so full of shit."
"I'm not joking, Sky." Chandler whined.
