Nyla POV
I woke up in the dark but I could feel bright illuminated lights on my eyes. There was also a soft hand running through my hair.
I looked up to see that I was resting in Levi's lap while a damp flannel was placed on my head.
"What happened?" I asked as I gently got up.
"Hey, careful. You fainted."
"Fainted." I said in disbelief.
"Yes. But its all good. Apparently you haven't had anything to eat today."
I looked down understanding what he was saying.
Embarrassed, I avoided his eyes.
"Why haven't you had anything to eat Ny." He asked.
This is exactly why I haven't told anyone about my anemia, i'm treated as the baby in the group and although it does has its perks it can get really annoying.
I took a deep breath then answered, "I was just trying to get everything ready for today, it's not that deep."
"Yes it is Ny, if Nehemiah wasn't there you could of seriously hurt yourself.
"Well I didn't okay, i'm fine."
I slowly got up and noticed that it was only Levi and I in the room.
"Where is everyone?" I asked.
"Your brother sent everyone home."
Of course Nemo getting involved in something that has nothing to do with him. Today had ended up being such a long day and right now all I wanted to do was sleep.
Levi and I had tidied the basement and made sure that everything was clean and washed up, but I wasn't sure if Levi was planning on going home or staying for a bit longer, it was only 9pm.
"I'm going upstairs, are you coming?" I asked bravely.
He looked caught off guard but I didn't miss the way his mouth curled into a smile after I asked.
"Yeah, I was wondering if you were going to ask me." He replied with a cheeky grin on his face.
"Whatever." I said with a small giggle.
Once again we were lying together in my bed while engaging in light conversation.
While I was speaking I noticed that Levi's interest had fizzled out.
"What's wrong." I asked with a look of concern on my face.
"I was really scared when I saw you lying on the floor Ny." He answered honestly.
"I'm sorry for making you feel like that." I said lowly.
"Ny, i'm not blaming you, i'm just really concerned."
Seriously, we're going through this again. I wasn't ready to tell him about my anemia, especially if this is the way that he's going to act towards me.
"It was a long day and to be honest I just wanted everything to be perfect."
We were just looking at each other before he spoke again.
"How are you feeling now?"
I slightly giggled "I'm fine Lee, stop worrying."
"Okay."
I thought it would be awkward but he went straight into another topic. We were talking about our future and the things that we wanted to achieve. It was so amazing to see how passionate he was about what he wanted.
