Mike's POV.
El's bound to know what's wrong with me when I everything comes crashing down. I don't believe Max when she said she sorted it. Who knows who bullied El. I don't know who myself but I know Max doesn't even know. I made a plan to see Max without Lucas, Dustin, Will and El."What's up?!" She asked as I met her around mine.
"Tell me the truth, did you find the girls that bullied El." Max frowned and looked down.
"No! I have no clue who, but if I see it happen I will torch them all." Max muttered.
"Why do you care?" I ask her.
"Because El's my friend. We share stuff. Girly stuff. Nothing you boys would understand." I shake my head in disbelief.
"And what if she finds out! That you really didn't save her from being bullied again?" I questioned Max.
"She won't. I won't let them. I'll stick with her even in the class I don't have her in." Max spoke. "I finally got a best friend I can finally share things with and not to annoy you lot with." I thought for a second. Max does care. Maybe that's why El likes her now. "It would be super nice if you could see me like she sees me. Like the others see me. Kind and honest. I won't even go near you if you can't stand me." Max spoke. I thought her words through. What do I want? It would make El happy. But then again. I never agreed to her joining our gang. I only did with El because she was scared and we was kids then. Now I'm older I can decide who and why they can't join. But Max seems tough.
"Fine! But you have to sort the bullying. I'm not attacking girls." I told her.
"Leave that all to me." She smiled and I smiled. I need to see El.
