Chapter 3: The New Flat

~~~~~•Remus POV•~~~~~

             I awoke with the golden morning sun rays hitting my face through Y/n's window. I turned over to Y/n, who was awake and staring right at me. I got startled and almost fell out of the bed.

"Have you been watching me sleep?"

"I might've."

"Creep."

"Sod off Remus."

"Question."

"Yes?"

"Are we eating breakfast here or?"

"Or?"

"My parents' house?"

"Your parents'. You're moving out today and even if I do choose to move in with you, I won't do it right away."

"Aren't your parents expecting us to eat here?"

"No, they're expecting us to eat there and then start moving everything to the new flat."

"That's convenient."

             We got ready and went downstairs. We were about to walk out the door when I told Y/n to wait for me outside. I wanted to talk to her parents for a moment.

"Wait for me outside Y/n, I need to talk to your parents before leaving."

"Alright then."

             I saw them talking and smiling. Both of my parents looked shocked at one point and then started smiling again. They gave Remus a huge hug before letting him come back outside.

"What was that all about?"

"None of your business."

"Look here bitch."

"Oh lighten up Y/n, I'm only joking. I actually can't tell you though."

"Why not?"

"It's a surprise."

"I hate you."

           He chuckled before pulling me towards him and apparating inside his parents' house. Everything seemed to be spinning. I began to feel nauseous.

"I forgot how much I hated side apparation until now."

Remus handed me a chocolate bar, his cure for everything always seems to be chocolate. I personally agree.

"Oh I feel so much better, thanks love."

            We walked into the dining room where we found Hope and Lyall. They walked up to us and gave us a hug. They looked happy and excited. I mean it's no secret as to why, their only son's long term girlfriend and maybe even future wife might move in with him.

             Hope started talking to me about how much I made Remus happy but I zoned out. I even zoned out during breakfast. I'm kind of worried because this is a big step in our relationship. I'm also excited because of obvious reasons. I think he's hiding something though because my parents seemed excited too. It's probably for the same reason at Remus's though.

"Y/n, darling? Are you alright?"

"Oh yeah sorry love. I zoned out, that's all."

"Eat Y/n, we have stuff to do today."

"Okay, mum."

He chuckled, "I've always loved your attitude."

We finished eating breakfast and were about to leave when Hope pulled me into a hug and whispered to me.
