Chapter 2

•1 week later•

We couldn't do anything about it.

The world was already split.

A lot of people lost their homes.

There was no more fighting between countries, we came together as one, helping each other.

That's all we could do.

" Honey, are you okay?" my mother asked sweetly.

" Oh yeah, mom i'm fine. I just can't believe it. Vampires mom, since when!" I said frustrated cause I didn't notice them before!

Having half of the world can not be the only thing they want. I mean really? There human bloodsuckers not to forget!

I can't believe I haven't heard about at least one death yet. Other than people being old and sick!

I was to busy thinking to hear my mother run outside quickly and yelling for me to come too!

"What's going on?" I screamed towards her!

"They're back again!" she screamed back!

Ahhh shit! I knew that wasn't all that they wanted I thought to myself while running after my mum.

It was the leader guy and 4 other people and they were walking straight towards us!

My dad, my mom and I were standing beside each other. My mom stepped in front of me. I stepped in front of my mom then my dad stepped in front of me. My mom and I stepped beside my dad. All of us trying to be protective of each other.

"Hello" he said a bit softer then the last time but still scary.

"Good to see you all again!" He said stopping 1 meter in front of us.

"Let me get to the point, all us vampires are men. We killed all the woman for food!" he spoke like it was nothing.

My mother gasped.

" Yeah, yeah whatever, i know, anyways, we men get to choose whatever human girl teenager from 13-25 shall turn into his girlfriend. FOREVER. Unless he kills you. Kidding kind of. Well, not really. Anyway we are having a party on December, 18. I the king choose my girl first then the rest will. Every girl 13-25 of age must show up and if not welll..." He ended off I think.

He started walking away then suddenly turned around and his fangs were huge he had golden eyes.

"That's what!" he said demonic!

In a flash the 5 were gone.

My mom started sobbing into my dad's shirt.

Without knowing I started to sob too and most people on the street were sobbing too.

I'm only sixteen and I would have to leave too.

They want us to be their girlfriend for different reasons.

Whoever is the leaders girlfriend gosh, their reason is probably crazy.

My fate man,

Our fate.
