I smirked to myself as kids stormed out of their classrooms. Oh crap! I have next period with Kellin. What would he say? I ran back to the restroom we were previously in, and checked myself in the mirror. Messy hair and, well my face. Would he really find this attractive? I turned the faucet on and splashed water on my face, and then wiped the excess water off my face with a paper towel. I used my fingers as a brush to my hair.
"Vic, are you okay?" I turned around to Mike with that worried look on his face again. I smiled and walked up to him. He looked confused as I gave him a hug. He hugged back.
"I'm fine, but I talked to Kellin. Everything's fine, I'll tell you all about it later, but don't say anything to anyone kay?" Mike returned the smile and nodded.
Thousands of butterflies entered my stomach. This time it was a decent feeling though, not the I-want-to-throw-up feeling or like my insides are being torn apart by a chainsaw. Mike wandered deeper into the restroom. I gripped my sketchpad and pencil and headed to second period. I saw Kellin standing by the classroom door. He looked like he was looking for someone, turning his head from left to right. Was he waiting for me? Once he caught my eyes, a grin appeared on his face. I entered the classroom to find that we were the first ones here. He ran to his desk and patted my seat, indicating for me to sit down.
"Well, d-does this mean what I think it means?" Kellin stuttered with a wide smile on his face. My cheeks became sore from smiling too. I sat down and lay my pencil and sketchpad on my desk. Kellin reached out his hand for my sketchpad, but stopped himself from doing so.
I pushed the sketchpad closer to him, allowing him to look through. "What do you mean?" I knew what he was talking about, but I was too eager to hear Kellin say it himself.
"Well, are we a 'thing' now?" I shook my head a little too fast. His smile grew even wider and he leaned over the desk to hug me. I buried my head in his neck and took in his clean scent. Right before we let go, he hugged me a lot tighter and giggled, "squeeze!" I laughed.
Kellin grabbed a bag from under his desk and took out a notepad and a pen. "Uh, you can get in trouble for having a bag in class." Kellin scrunched up his eyebrows and pursed his lips, looking confused. The look fell off his face and he shrugged. He ripped a small corner of paper out of his notepad and scribbled a number along with his name. He nervously handed it to me and kept a grip as I tried to take it, jokingly being hesitant, I hope... After a few more tugs, he let it go with a laugh.
"We should hang out at McDonalds tonight. I know it's greasy but it's easy. Ha! That rhymes!" Kellin and I mutually smiled at his humor. I laid back in my chair as students came pouring in one by one.

"What?! You're going out now! You two have only known each other for two or three days?!" Mike yelled happily shocked as we walked home from school.
"Shh! I don't want anyone to know yet but you. And yeah, but everything feels right for some reason." Mike had to catch up with me, I guess I was pacing up. I felt that sensation of my jaw hurting again from smiling too much. I gripped the crumbled piece of paper in my hand. "I'm meeting him at McDonalds tonight." I confidently announced.
Mike's jaw dropped. "And do what? Go off somewhere in a dark ally?" I jokingly punched my little brother in the rips. I laughed as he jumped like a cat. "Oww! And stop laughing! You know you're just jealous of my cat reflexes."
"Shut up and shave your mustache." Mike rolled his eyes.

I tugged at my curly hair and smelled coconut conditioner. 'Where is he?' I whispered in my head. I checked my phone for the eighteenth time (yes, I kept count). I walked out of the McDonalds entrance and felt cold November air freeze my wet hair. I searched around the parking lot and sighed as I slid my back down a light post, sitting on the ground. "Shit!" I jumped as a trans-am drove extremely close by me.
I was about to walk up to the mother fucker until the car came to a stop and I saw Kellin and some girl step out of the car. I ducked behind the concrete stand of the light post and watched them. Kellin looked around, searching for me? His breath made a cloud in the cold air as he walked to the driver's side of the car and hugged her.
"Huh?" Probably his sister or something..." They were attached for about fifteen seconds but after that they only moved their chests away from each other, their arms still clung together. They were talking about something, but I couldn't hear anything except my own unsteady breathing. They finally let go of each other and mouthed what I think was goodbye. And then... They, kissed...
"What. The. FUCK!" I screamed louder then intended. What the hell?! I thought we were together, a 'thing' as he called it. Was I just a fucking 'hit 'n run'? God Vic, thanks for assuming and taking everything so fast. He's probably laughing about you in his head right now. Their heads quickly turned in my direction. I kind of recognized the girl now. In fact, she looks very familiar... Too familiar.
It was her, the one who fucking almost ruined Mikey's life. The reason he is so worrisome now. That bitch!
