We stand in the hallway against out lockers loosely locked fingers. Michael and I get looks from everyone. Even some asshole guys saying 'faggot' in the most indiscreet ways that try to be discrete. I don't even know what to think, probably by now the whole school knows about Michael and I. The bell rings signalling first is about to start. Michael gives me a quick kiss on my cheek and says goodbye.

I sit in class and all I can think about is that as much as I love Michael, I shouldn't have done this whole 'come out of the closet' so soon. Don't get me wrong I'm not embarrassed about it, I'm just scared and unprepared.

"Hey, Calum, are you okay?" My desk partner, Lilly, asks me.

"Huh?" I question.

"You just look super pale, you good?" She questions again.

"Oh, yeah, yeah, I'm good just got a heavy mind, yaknow." I tell Lilly.

"Cal, I know we don't no each other and this may be forward, but I'm really happy you're happy that you and Michael are like together and that's great because I think that this school needed a forward thinking push and also totally unrelated Luke is really hot."  Lilly finishes rambling.

"Lilly, I think we could be great friends." I smile at Lilly, she has honestly made my day better, I think I need a female friend, I'm always with guys and Lord knows now with my new found gay. Throughout the class I learned that Lilly's last name is Johns, she has only 1 friend at the catholic school in our area, and that she's had a major crush on Luke for years. So basically we talk about Luke for most of it, coming from a friendly view, Luke is very attractive and very single so I can't blame her. At the end of English Lilly and I give each other our numbers and part ways until like 5 minutes later when she texts me talking about how 'Luke looked at her with a soft sexy face', in which I laughed really loud in the middle of the hallway earning more glares than ever before.

Lunch came quicker than ever thanks to Lilly and I's texts. I had invited Lilly to sit with us at lunch, since she usually eats by herself. We met outside my classroom.

"Calum goddamn it next time you invite me to lunch with your friends give me a 24 hour warning! I look  like a hot mess and Luke is going to be there!" Lilly panics.

"Lilly, shut up you're fine." I scold as we walk to lunch. I introduced everyone to Lilly and we all started talking to Lilly and each other like Lilly has been in our group for years. As a show once said, 'friendship is magic'.

Michael, Luke and Ashton come over after school for another exciting afternoon of Fifa and movies, I invited Lilly but she is really behind in English and had to get some assignments started.

Michael and Ashton are playing Fifa and me and Luke are sitting on the couch, the perfect time talk up Lilly.

"Hey mate, what did you think of Lilly?" I ask Luke.

"She's cool mate, funny, nice and cute, can't believe you've never met her before." Luke says barely looking away from the screen.

"Cute, huh?" I nudge, hoping for more details.

"Yeah I mean she's that cute short height and she has brown hair and green eyes that's a winner." Luke shrugged looking at me, "Why do you ask?"

"I don't know mate just wondering." I tell him.

"Cal, you aren't cheating on me with Lukey there are you." Michael laughs as their round ends.

"Never Mikey." I grin laughing along.

After the guys leave my house I tell Lilly everything that Luke said, her fangirling forever, we both seem to fall asleep.
