I started to tap my foot beginning to get a bit impatient. After a couple of minutes, Abigail and Daniel finally walked out of the house.

"Okay, you two finally ready?" I asked slightly annoyed.

"Yeah." They both said and looked at each other but then looked back at me.

"Well then let's go." I simply stated and the three of us began to walk down to the weapon store. We all got to the store and walked inside. Me and Abigail said 'hi' to the storekeeper and started to help Daniel find a weapon. Daniel eventually found a scythe. A bit much if you ask me but if he wants it that's alright. We brought it to the desk and got it all paid for. Here currency is gold; it used to be things like coins and cash but that all changed when it was abandoned by everyone leaving nothing left. Houses that had no one in them were robbed and destroyed. People were robbed on the streets and it just seemed that everyone had gone to Hell. After that very few people stayed; most left to other places; places that would be considered safer than here, but when everyone left to other places it only left people who were actually willing to stay and not just because we didn't have to pay as much but because they actually liked it here and believed that they could change it back to how it was or even better. We stayed because we liked it here and it was safe after everyone left. We believed that we could be brave and fight these hideous creatures. The three of us started to walk out I snapped out of my thoughts from the past.

"Are you ready to go kick some monster ass?" I asked as we exited the store.

"As ready as I'll ever be for my first time," Daniel said and Abigail nodded. The three of us walked into the forest that Abigail and I had just left but needing to head back to that Hell. We walked into the forest.

I was trailing a little bit behind everyone but that's not really much of a surprise as I usually am a bit behind. As I trail behind I'm looking at both Abigail and Daniel. What is this? I've never liked a boy and a girl before. I snap out of it. I keep looking at Abigail. I'm noticing things that I've never noticed before; how her ass seems to be larger in those shorts and that she just seems prettier in general, her chest is the normal size for a sixteen-year-old but maybe slightly larger. Why am I feeling this way? Her amber eyes seem to sparkle. I look back at Daniel, his messy hair looks oddly attractive, his ivy coloured eyes seem much brighter. The sweat on him as we trek through these horrid woods also makes him look attractive. I look back to Abigail. Her strawberry blonde hair flowing behind her in the wind.

I take a deep breath to calm down. As I exhaled I was picked up by a large turquoise hand that's grip could crush me. I feel myself get lifted off of the ground and let out a loud scream. I saw both Abigail and Daniel turn around. I tried to get out my katanas but they were trapped in their sheaths and I couldn't take them out. All of a sudden I felt the air in front of my face be ripped through by an arrow that could only be shot by Abigail. She was basically our Katniss Everdeen of the group. I then noticed that Daniel wasn't there. 'Did he really just bail on us?!?' Just as I thought that I felt myself plummet to the floor. The damn thing let go of me finally but as I'm falling. I closed my eyes and excepted death when I never hit the floor I opened my eyes. I was in Abigail's arms. My face went pink and I looked away from her not wanting her to see my blush. She put me on my feet and let out a sigh.

"What no thank you?" Abigail said jokingly. I laughed before answering her.

"Thank you, Abigail," I say before a male voice piped up.

"She gets one for catching you but I don't for basically saving you from dying to that thing and becoming monster chow?" Daniel says as he cleans his scythe of the silver blood from the creature.

"Thanks to you too Daniel. Now, if you would excuse me I have a monster I have to finish off." I say before walking toward the thing, taking out my katanas.

"Well looks like I've won this fight," I say as I jab my swords into this things eyes before pulling them out. Letting the thing bleed out.

"Let's just leave this thing, one of its own kind will find it," I say wanting to be out of here. Or at least that area; who wants to stay in the place where they almost died. Everyone else nodded in agreement, I mean their best friend almost died. We walked for hours, killing monsters on the way.

"We should start heading back." Daniel had said.

"Yeah, we really should. It's getting dark and their more active during the night." Abigail stated in the agreement.

"Well then let's go." I just say. And we were all on our merry way. When we got to the house everyone was exhausted.

"Well, I'm exhausted. I should get home." Daniel said. Abigail opened her mouth to say something but I interrupted her.

"You could just stay here." I quickly say without thinking. I shocked myself a bit there, I normally don't speak out. I had to find a way to cover that up. "We have an extra room if you want to stay there for the night," I suggested.

"Sure. I bet it would be fun." Daniel replied.

"Third room on the right, upstairs," Abigail said as soon as Daniel was out of earshot she turned to me. "Nice save." And with that, she walked away. 'She's probably off to her room.' I thought as I walked up to my room to get ready. I got into a pair of black shorts and a black short sleeve shirt.
