I remember the bursting fireworks that fill the night sky
I remember their light, brillaint and up so high
And how each and every one would shake my very core......they don't do it anymore
I remember that one stand where we used to meet
Eating all the snacks while sitting by the street
I remember the times we'd act like ugly clowns......The owner just left town
remember when I walked with you
how we talked and talked about what we thought was true
I remember all the dirt, when we played, it covered our hands......Now I don't see you name in the sand
I have all these memories, the smiles and the tears
Our hopes, dreams, troubles, and fears
But we've grown, and the distance longer than before
We stopped knocking on eachother's doorsAll these times and experiences, the moments I remember
Like how the year ends by the end of december
Everything we have just isn't what they used to be...
...But I guess that's just me
