We are comrades of life's battles
Although we fight on different fields
It is we that torn away our shackles
And we share the same shieldsWe build our fortresses, bastions of protection
We fought hard against what was ideal
We administered our own needed correction
And we have eaten the same mealsWe have had our strife and times of defeat
Many times over, it's our failures that we meet
But we are what hoists of each other's heart
To make way and create a better startWe are what we offer for a peace of mind
We are what we have as what happiness we can find
We are what we seek when we vent our emotions
We are what we support when we suffer from commotionsYour presence has never failed to calm myself down
So may my hand be there to pull you when you drown
Our bond is as strong as chain and sword
It shall never be snapped, for forevermoreFor sadly even a marriage can be painfully divorced
Friendships are fragile when forced
Familial ties may be scratched, but can be woven
But by God, our brotherhood shall never be broken!
