Humans are curious creatures. Never satisfied with what they have. To be specific, never pleased with the knowledge they have. There is no "less is more". Humans have the desire to figure things out, learn more about everyone and everything; and some, just some, have twisted ways of getting what they need.
The wretched future. Many have predicted this, and it finally happened. Humans ruined the Earth, but not so much physically as figuratively. Many things have been pushed away, the new generations of the human race prioritizing newer, more elaborate things. One of the things that has been pushed away was something nobody expected.
Man's best friend.
Dogs roam the crystalized streets now, left alone to fend for themselves and learn the cruel new ways of the Earth themselves. As time went by, man began to realize just how little and insignificant those dependable creatures are, and cast them out. You will find that odd person who will show a form of attention to these animals, and also some people who still own them. "Owning" them is an overstatement. The higher powers can confiscate your dog any time they'd like. Not much is known of dogs anymore. Not to mention their capability of complex thought. Dogs don't understand what's happening, they don't get what humans say. That couldn't be further from the truth.
All the information and knowledge on man's best friend has been replaced by new, more convenient ways to travel and predict the weather. Only just recently have canines perked the interests of mankind.
Why? To see how to control them. To brainwash them. Turn them into a sort of personal slave, cause they can do that, right? To find out how these diverse animals can benefit humans, and there are many ways they can. There are also many ways to learn more about these creatures.
But there are some humans that aren't so fond of just watching them walk around and jot down notes. They hunger for action.
They hunger for the most violent and cruel way possible.
(( A/N: Hello and welcome to my "Dog Hunger Games"! I just wanted to put a quick disclaimer in before you continue.
This is inspired by The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. This book is going to be dark, and there is going to be blood and death. I know some people's actual dogs are in here, and I am saying right now that chances are they will die. The same with my dog in this book. Take nothing in this book personally, please. This is just a book to hopefully interest people. I will do my best to be able to include everyone a couple times! Please understand it is difficult to try and please so many people.
Thank you! ))
