Blue. That is what I see when I gaze upon you. A story of infinite tales, and undying love. A sea of untold stories and hidden demons. I don't just see you, I see what makes you. I see the truths you hide, the lies you flaunt, and the inevitable of what is to come. I see you, even when you hide within yourself, I see you.

There's an ocean in your eyes, swimming with sorrow, salted by thousands of fallen tears. And I see you, floundering in the midst of a storm made possible by the currents of rage flowing through your blood. Lost in a land made dark by the shadow of her. Caught in the web of a spider, frozen in fear of her fangs. Frozen from your own inner fangs, that slice and cut away at your shattered heart.

Blue, a darker shade that spots your skin like watercolor, rimmed with black and purple making you a living piece of damaged art. A delicate thing with more wounds than can be counted. Blue, like the pulsating veins under thin skin, marked by dozens of flaws, a landscape mapped by your own ire. Put up the mask, an empty void you pretend to be, lifeless, loveless. But you can't fake me out. Because I see you.

You are blue, as vast as the sky, as endless as the ocean, as fleeting as the wilting forget-me-not. Your petals fluttering away in the wind, in the breath of she who defies you. Wiping away your identity, who you are. I know you, you are blue. The dying spark in your eyes shows as much. Oh, gentle creature, turned blue as the monsters you create suck away your breath.

Darling you are blue. And I see you in all your shades. I know you in all light. Because I am you. I am blue.
