a/n okkkay. in the book, it is whatever month is 2 months before October. meaning Halloween. cute couple costumes ;)  so its August, just did a lil bit of brain power and counted the months. yay? ok you may read this chapter now if you are reddie. hehehehe. sorry okkayy. enjoy

the doorbell rang at eddie's house. sonia left a few minutes ago. 

eddie answered the door.

"why hello there eds. nice to see you again." richie said chewing his gum.

"i told you richie, don't call me eds." eddie moves out of the doorframe letting richie into his house. 

"its a cute name eds" richie had ignored eddies request the night before too by calling him eds.

"cute?"

"yes eds. it is very cute. just like you." eddie blushed, he could tell.

richie had learned that eddie despised being called cute. sonia had called eddie her 'cute little eddie-bear' on her way out the previous night. eddie had complained to richie about how annoying she could be. 

"no im not," eddie said looking down trying to make it seem as if he wasn't blushing.

"i was kidding eds. no need to blush." richie pushed eddie's left shoulder jokingly. but of course, this made eddie blush even more in embarrassment.

"i'm not blushing. just hot." eddie looked up immediately regretting what he said.

"not as hot as your mom though." richie said winking. this joke surprisingly cracked a slight laugh out of eddie's mouth.

"are you always this annoying richie?"

"mostly." richie smirked

eddie twirled the tightly curled phone cord in his fingers. he dialled bev's number into the phone. he waited a few moments and a few buzzez before someone on the other end of the number picked up the phone.

"hello?"

"bev?"

"speaking. who is this?"

"it's eddie-"

"shit, did that son of a bitch hurt you?" 

"no, i was just wondering if you, mike and ben wanted to come over. were all going to have a fun night."

"what did he do to you?"

"what?"

"you never want to do anything fun."

"thats not true."

"...."

"I can have fun."

"i'll pick up ben and mike. we'll be over in 10."

"cool. see you then,"

"yup,"

"bye."

"bye."

eddie placed the phone down.

"call stan and bill."

"what?"

"call your friends. were going to have some fun." richie smiled at eddie's words.

"of course. this will be great eds."

richie called bill and Stanley and told them to come over. a few minutes later ben, mike, stan, bill and bev arrived.
