This story won't follow the original plot line, to be honest I don't really have much of a plan for this story, but I do know I'm just going to go where ever my imagination takes me. Oh and no matter what this story will be completed.

Anyways, enjoy!!

"No! Let go of me!" Clarke screamed while kicking out at the air, as one of the guards picked her up.

"Dad! Please he didn't do anything! Dad!" Clarke screamed as she watched the glass doors close on her father.

Jake Griffin smiled at his daughter one last time before the doors behind him opened and he was sent flying out to his death.

Clarke's cries of pure and utter pain fell on deaf ears as the guards dragged her away towards the prison cells.

Clarke was practically thrown onto the floor whilst the guard that had held her back while her father was put in chains, closed the door behind him.

Clarke lay there in a pile on the floor in the middle of the room that she knew she'd be spending the next year in. She slowly raised her head and looked around her surroundings with dry tears on her face.

The room was quite small with a metal toilet, two twin beds on opposite sides of the room and just plain grey walls.

Clarke slowly stood up and walked over to one of the beds, just to spin around as she heard the clanking of her cell door opening, aswell as the screams of a girl around her age.

The guard that had the girl over his shoulder was the same guard that had brought Clarke into the cell. She saw the look on his face and immediately knew what he was going to do.

As fast as Clarke could she ran in front of them as the guard threw the girl on his shoulder, Clarke managed to catch the girl but they both went tumbling to the floor, with the nameless girl ontop of Clarke.

The guard grunted before slamming the metal door behind him. Just as the guard turned to walk away from cell 105 he came face to face with his boss. The guard bowed his head slightly in a sign of respect before scurrying off.

The head of all the guards on the ark gave the cell door with the number '105' a slight glare knowing exactly who was in there before making his way back down the hall.

Back inside the room that would become the home to both Octavia and Clarke, both of them sat in silence until Octavia finally got sick of it.

"Thank you" She said softly with a bit of a smile before continuing, "I'm Octavia, nice to meet you..." she trailed off waiting for the blonde haired girl to say her name.

"Clarke. It's nice to meet you too, oh and no problem the guard did the exact same thing to me a couple of minutes" Clarke told her with a small smile of her own.

"What a jackass, I hope he doesn't get assigned to us" Octavia said with a grumble before looking at Clarke's face and noticing the tear stains, "Are you okay?"

"Oh um yeah, I'm fine" Clarke said with a bit of a sad tone making Octavia purse her lips together before standing up and extending a hand to Clarke.

"I know you don't know me but it looks as if we're going to be living with eachother for a while so we might as well get to know eachother" Octavia said as she pulled Clarke up, although Clarke still didn't say anything so she decided to continue.

"I know you don't trust me and to be honest I don't trust you but I do think I can. Nobody else would of caught me, nobody else would of showed me kindness like that especially if they seem like they're dealing with alot. So can we try this and see how it goes?" Octavia asked finally finished and hoping Clarke would open up abit.

"I'd like that." Clarke said with a genuine smile on her face instead of a forced one.

"I...I just saw my father get floated for knowing something about the ark...and I'm in prison for knowing and I'll be floated in a year or so too..." Clarke said quietly but Octavia heard her loud and clear making her eyes widen.

Octavia pulled Clarke down onto the bed closest to them. Clarke looked like she was about to cry so Octavia, doing the only thing she could think of, pulled her into a hug.

"Well I guess it's my turn...I'm in here because I was born, I have an older brother, Bellamy. My mother and him kept me hidden my whole life under the floor, but Bellamy thought maybe I could go to the dance that's on...and I got caught, he's not being thrown in prison...but...they're probably floating my mom right about now..." Octavia trailed off as tears welled in her eyes and a few escaped, streaming down her face.

Clarke, who in favour of listening to Octavia, had pulled away when she started talking. She pulled Octavia into a bone crushing hug and leant them both back so they were lying on the bed.

For the rest of the night they just lay there in eachother's embrace, thinking that maybe, just maybe, they would have someone who would look after them, who they could look after.

'Maybe this is the start of something amazing'
