The Day He Was Seen

Eren woke up the next day feeling sore... which wasn't unusual seeing that he always felt sore. But he felt more sore than usual. "Should've slept on the floor" Eren thought grimly. Eren looked at his alarm clock. "School doesn't start until 8', and it takes me roughly 2 hours to reach there with the bus..., so if I leave now, I would reach there at approximately....7'...later than I would like, but at least I won't be late..." With those thoughts in mind, Eren grabbed his bag and made his way out of the apartment.

As Eren came out, he quickly paced forward and out of the building, hoping that no one would see where he was going or coming from. Luckily there weren't any people around, so he slowed his steps and almost relaxed. Almost. Why did Eren feel a presence as he reached the bus stop, he had no idea. He really hoped that it was just his anxiety that was acting without reason, but the last time he ignored it...

Eren shook his head and cautiously made his way into the bus that had just arrived. As he sat down, he was sure that it was just his anxiety, since he no longer felt watched. He calmed down tremendously and began to study to compensate for the hours wasted yesterday. He was to finish all of his subjects yesterday, but was only able to make up for Biology and Chemistry. As he reached school, he was happy that not many students had come yet. He quickly made his way to his locker, got out his towel and hanger, and made his way to the showers. He undressed quickly and hung it just outside the curtain, hoping the steam from the shower he was about to take, would remove some of the creases. He turned on the shower, quickly soaking and cleaning himself, in the hopes that he would still have some time left to revise.

"Eren Jaeger! Explain yourself!" Eren's father questioned furiously. Eren, shaking in fear, had no answer. How was he supposed to explain the reason to his dad? What would his father say? He felt disgusted and he was sure his father would agree. He did what he could after that, by resigning from his job, hoping that it would help him forget; but he knew it was a far fetched wish. He was still out there. He made that very clear during his resignation. Forgetting all of it? How could he? Forgetting was easier said... than done...

Eren heard the bell ringing. Panicked, he quickly tried to dry himself, dress, and brush his teeth within the short span of 5 mins. His constant daydreams were causing him more trouble than what was needed. Miraculously, he was still able to make it in time.. by the skin of his teeth. "Eren Jaegar?" The teacher called out as Eren burst into the room panting and yelling out " Present!" It was to safe to say that everyone, including a certain black haired boy, was shocked by Eren's actions and appearance. As Eren, began to make his way to his seat, the black haired boy couldn't help but stare at him. Eren, once again, felt a presence from behind, but ignored it, trying to dismiss his anxiety. As he began to take out his books, he soon realized that he had packed the wrong books for this lesson. "Today is going to be a long day" Eren mumbled to himself mournfully.
