Chapter 2

Tin's P.O.V.

*Ding dong*

I woke up and stood up from my bed.

I suddenly remember the date today. Shit. My parents are going home today.

I rushed to the door downstairs and  opened it. Good thing I cleaned the house last night before I went to bed.

"Mom. Dad. You're home." I said, faking a smile as they entered the house with their usual long faces.

"Yes. Have you cleaned the house?" Mom asked and I nodded but rolled my eyes when she wasn't looking. Isn't she going to ask how I have been these past few weeks like how normal parents do when they get home from overseas?

"Have you cooked rice for breakfast?" Dad asked, going to the kitchen.

"I just woke up." I said.

"Where is chris? Still not home?" Mom asked as she attempted to look for the man who's nowhere to be found. Chris is my younger brother. He's a year younger than me and let me emphasize what he is good at-ANNOYING ME. The thing is, we're not really close. We fight over anything literally.

"Nope. He's still at the camp. Maybe with his friends. I don't know." I shrugged my shoulders, still standing near the house exit until Dad told me to get their things from the car.

Sigh. I really want to do nothing today. I just wanna lay down on bed. I guess that's not happening.

---- 2 MONTHS LATER----

"야! 하지마(Ya! Hajima)" said the character from the K-Drama I'm watching.

2 months have passed. I got interested in K-Drama because of my cousin who told me to watch this certain drama called "W: Two Worlds". After that, I got addicted and tried to find another to watch. I'm currently watching 화랑(Hwarang).

The guys looked really handsome, especially Hansung. I adjusted my laptop from my lap to see it better as I lay on my bed.

I finished watching the 9th episode of the Drama and began scrolling through my facebook feed. I saw a video and immediately played it as soon as I saw the face of Hansung on a 방탄소년단 Facebook page.

It's a compilation of them doing aegyo. I started laughing hard because of them and watched another video again and again. The next thing I know, I'm typing their group's name on YouTube.

After investigating and searching about them for a month, I've memorized almost everything about them. Tho, it still confuses me how K-Pop works.

I saw on twitter that they are nominated on the BBMAs. I voted for them, of course.

I fangirled over them and I just couldn't stop it. Everytime they do something really, cool, my heart would always want to jump from its place.

A YEAR LATER

"Mom, can we go to Korea on my birthday? Please? I'm doing good in school, don't you think it's time to give me some travel experience?" I asked my mom as we were eating our food for dinner.

"We'll see."

"But mom! My birthday is around the corner. If we book the flight sooner, it'll be cheaper, which is good for your case." I explained. I've done my research yesterday about everything for the travel expenses. The flight from my country, Ph to Kr, is a bit cheap which is good. Really good.

"Ok. But you have to bring a friend with you because your dad and I won't be able to go with you, we have work. Chris you want to go with them?" Mom asked.
