[Jisu's pov]
Even though I had put on sun screen, my shoulders were still bright red and I could feel them burning. Today, my two best friends, Mia and Kristine, and I went to a beach. The only beach that had sand instead of gravel was at the other side of the island, so we had to go by bus.
We stayed there all day, swimming, talking and ordering drinks.
They were drinking beer, and no matter how much I wanted to do so too,
I couldn't. They both turned 18 a few weeks ago, but I'm still 17. If I would've had even one sip and my brother found out, I'd be dead, so I passed.
(A/n: I know that the legal drinking age is different in some countries, but where I live it's 18 so i used that :))"Ughh, I really hoped we'd find some cute boys." Mia whined.
"What about that boy, the brunette, he was pretty cute right?" Kristine said.
"Well, yeah I guess, but he was only looking at Jisu!" Mia said,
with an eye roll."Hey, I don't care!
You can have him if you want." I said chuckling."Nah, I don't want your hand-me-downs." We laughed.
Suddenly Kristine's eyes widened, and she looked at me. "Hey, isn't your birthday in four days?"
"Yeah, why?" I replied.
"You should totally have a party!" Kristine said while clapping her hands together.
I doubted. "Maybe I should? But who'd I invite? I only know three people on this island and I really don't want to host it."
"Leave that to us! We'll host it and invite people! This will be so much fun!"
Mia suddenly shouted, and Kristine nodded heavily."Would you guys really do that? For me?" They both nodded. "Ahw that's so sweet!" I awed.
They started rattling about where it should be and who they would invite.
"It's perfect weather for a beach party! Ohh, or even better, a pool party!" Kristine said enthusiastically."I have an idea! You remember those guys from yesterday, from the bar? They said they have a big mansion with a pool and that if we wanted we could always come over! I have their number, so I could ask them!" Mia shouted a little too hard, making everyone in the bus to turn their heads. She turned red and tried to disappear in her bus seat. I chuckled.
"I don't care where it is and who you invite, but make sure there are drinks. I'm finally gonna be 18, so I'm going all out. I said, smirking.
"We get it boo,
I did that too, even though I already started drinking when I was 17, oops"
Mia said shrugging. Kristine and I let out a sigh and I rolled my eyes. Mia giggled. This is how we always are when we are together. We joke around most of the time, but when someone has a problem, we're all ears and always try to help. When Mia had an abusive boyfriend, Kristine and I helped her get rid of him and turn him in to the police.
When Kristine's parents got divorced,
we had a sleepover for three nights just to comfort her. And when my brother had a party again, I could always stay over with one of them.As I sunk deeper into my thoughts, the bus slowly stopped. "Wait! This is our stop! Mia, hurry!" Kristine said,
while grabbing Mia's arm and dragging her out of her bus seat."Well, I guess we'll see you at the party! Make sure to wear something ho- nevermind, you don't have hot clothes, come half an hour early so I can change you into something!"
Mia shouted at me, while being pulled out of the bus by Kristine."Bye, see you in four days!"
I waved at them through the window and the bus started driving again. I looked out of the window, looking at the beautiful landscapes. 'Hm, I understand why a lot of photographers go here, it's stunning.'
I thought to myself.I always wanted to be a photographer when I was young. I even saved up for two years just to buy the best camera I could find. It ended up breaking, because one of the drunk people at my brother's party though it'd be funny to throw vodka over it. After that happened I kind of gave up on the dream, and started focusing on other things, like school.
The bus drove higher through the mountains and the view was just so stunning, that I just had to snap a picture. My friends always ask me to take pictures of them, because even though it's not one of my hobbies anymore, I guess I'm still good at snapping pictures and choosing different angles, making the picture just a bit more special. I took a few pictures,
put my phone away and started staring out of the window.I don't know for how long I was staring, but suddenly we were at the next stop.
It was the last stop before mine, even though there was an hour in between.I looked at the bus stop, and it was quite busy. When the bus stopped, the people started crowding in front of the door. There was an old lady among them, but most of them didn't care and just kept pushing, trying to get in. Exept for one boy. He waited quietly behind all the other people, and when they were all in, he helped the old lady. After the old lady got in the bus, he turned back to grab his bag.
I looked at him closely. I thought it was the same boy from yesterday.
He was wearing all black, with timberlands and a beanie. I really wanted to see his face, so if he could just turn around...He must've felt that I was staring at him, because he suddenly turned around and stared right back into my eyes.
I was in shock."J-Jungkook..?"
A/n: Hey guys! Thanks for reading the first real chapter of my first fanfic.
I really struggled with the ending and it's not nearly as good as I wanted it to be, but I was too lazy to write it again :)
I hope you like it, and again, if you have tips or see any spelling mistakes, please let me know!
