It's been almost two weeks since I've left the hospital, and moved in with Steve. He was right, Mittens does really like him. Anyway, the past week I've been stuck being sick with something because I've been getting really bad headaches or whenever I eat anything it comes right back up.
So basically I've been in bed a lot. I keep telling Steve it's just the flu but he's convinced we should go see Banner because he thinks it has something to do with the drug they found in me that had me asleep for four weeks.
I was laying in our bedroom half asleep when I felt my stomach grumble. I knew it wouldn't be a good idea to eat something considering I would probably throw it up but I haven't eaten in almost three days. All I've had is water.
I slowly sat up and wiped my dark hair from my eyes and yawned. I can't even imagine what I look like. I moved the blanket off of me and stood up. I stumbled a bit and let my dizzy eyes adjust to everything around me. I started walking towards the door and I yawned again. I blinked my eyes a few times and moaned. I was really tired... but I wanted food, and when a girl wants food, you don't give up.
I leaned open the door and walked down the hallway until I was in the kitchen. I wondered where Steve was but didn't hold onto the though long when I opened the fridge. I scanned for something I was in the mood for. Nothing. I went to my second option, the freezer.
I opened the freezer and instantly grabbed for the chocolate ice cream I saw.
I walked over to the counter and sat on a stool and grabbed a spoon. As I popped open the lid, I scooped out a bite with my spoon. I yawned again as I swallowed the delicious chocolate coldness. I rubbed my eyes and realized I wanted a blanket but was too lazy to go get one.
"Emily?" I turned around randomly with the spoon in my mouth as I heard Steve say my name. I awkwardly pulled the spoon out and sniffed my stuffy nose. "Hi." I said holding my ice cream close. Steve walked over and took the ice cream from my grasp. Before I could protest he spoke, "What are you doing? You should be resting. You're sick."
I looked around and then back at him. "I was hungry."
"So you take ice cream? Or why didn't you just call me to get you something." He replied helping me up. "It's just a little fever. I'm fine." I debated as he started to walk me back to the bedroom.
He laid me back down in bed and sat on the edge and for some reason I'm not hungry anymore either. "Now do you want me to bring you anything?" I head him ask as I slightly closed my eyes. I shook my head and felt him stand up.
"No. Can you stay with me?" I whispered in a tired voice before he left. I saw him turn around and walk over to his side. "Of course." He said and sat down on the side of his bed. I turned my body over so I could rest up against him. I almost instantly fell asleep resting on him.

I woke up peacefully, but not where I expected to be. When I opened my eyes I realized I was laying on a large soft bed with bed curtains draped over the top. There was a balcony letting in a warm breeze across the room along with a bright sunshine.
I stirred and turned around looking at the rest of the room. I definitely wasn't in our apartment anymore. I sat up and instantly felt better than I had the past week. The fever I had was no longer there and I felt 100% me again.
I stood up and walked over and out to the balcony. The warm breeze blew silently through my hair while I looked out upon the edge. My jaw dropped when I saw the scenery, there were beautiful buildings and houses looking like they were made of glimmering gold.
