Chenle- the little prince

*3rd person p.o.v*

"Yah, why are you here?" One of the kids pushed Chenle in his arm. "I-I was lost" he looked down. "We don't need you here, nerd!" They started laughing. His eyes were turning red when someone was in front of him. "Leave him alone" the girl glared. "And what are you gonna do, huh?" The boy mocked. "Hmm.....what about a drink?" She asked. She held up a bottle full of soda. "What's That gonna do?  The boy comes closer. "This" she smirks and spills the drink in his eyes.

"Aaahhhh!" His eyes burned. The little girl and boy ran off with each other and smiled. "Your lucky I was there and saw the scene. I even had to give up my own drink!" She laughs. "Whats your name?" Chenle asks while running. "Y/n! What about you?" She smiles. "Chenle!" He smiles back.

*10 years later*

Chenle opened up his locker and found a sticky note that was attached to the banana milk like everyday, and of course, the admire couldn't forget the rose.

'Whenever I see you, my stomach always turns and my face turns bright red. Oh well....you probably don't even know who I am. But I'll still love you from afar"

"Cute" He said to himself and smiled. He put the stick note in his pocket and the rose in his bag. He drank the banana milk and bumped into y/n. "Hey Chenle!" She happing smiled. "Hi! These notes from my admire is just.....amazing. I really want to meet her" he smiles to himself. "You never know? Maybe she'll confess today, tomorrow, the next day, or even next month. Or maybe next year?" She shrugs. "Don't gets my hopes to high" He laughs.

*your p.o.v*

When i got home from school, I headed strait to the bathroom since I needed to go pee really bad. After I was done, I looked at myself in the mirror. "Strange....my hair isn't this crazy" I laugh to myself. As I was brushing my hair, my eyes widened. I looked at the brush and saw many of my hairs come out. "What the heck?" I whisper to myself. I slowly and gently run my fingers through my hair, and they all fall out. "This can't be...." I whisper.

I collapsed on the ground and started to cry hard and harder. "I don't wanna leave him yet" I cry.

*at doctors office*

"So what are the results, doctor?" Mom asks. "It's too late now. She's already at stage 4..." He sighs. "How much time will I have?" My eyes start to tear up. "Only one more month left" he looks down. I cover my mouth and start to cry in my moms shoulders. "I don't wanna leave yet..." I cry. "Just stay strong, honey. You have to" Mom cupped my face. I nod in response and soon we walk out of the doctors office.

*at school*

I had to wear a wig and a beanie so nobody could tell. I walk over to Chenle who was reading his note that I gave him. I don't want to leave him yet."Hey chenle" I force a smile. "Y/n!" He hugged me tight. I blushed when he hugged me but pulled back. "Why are you so happy today?" I laugh. "I don't know? This note cheered me up!" He smiled at the pink sticky note. He doesn't even recognize my hand writing.

"Well....it makes me happy when your happy" I smile. "Yeah!" He puts his arms up. All the sudden I freeze for a moment, then look down. I suddenly hug him tight, that I don't  wanna let go. "W-what's the hug for?" He stutters. "I'll be away.....on vacation. I'm gonna miss you" I look at him. "Vacation? For how long?" He asks. "Now.....that's only for me to know" I grin at him. "For you to know? Why can't I know? I'm your best friend and I should know!" He pouts.

"Let's go to class" I smile and hold onto his hand. "What's with all the skinship?" He asks. "I wanna make these memories last forever." I force a smile and try to hold back my tears. We ended up walking to class holding hands. It was already the end of the month and this was my time to come. "Your such a little prince.....and you'll only be my little prince" I ruffle his hair. "Of course I'll be your little prince! Wherever you go, I'll go!" He shows his eye smile. I softly smile and him and without him noticing, I wipe the tear that fell out of my eye.

*chenle's p.o.v/ end of the month*

I eagerly walk up to my locker and open it up with my combination. As I opened it up, I widely smiled as I saw tons of roses with a banana milk and sticky note. "Let's see what you've got for me today" I smile. I grab the sticky note and start reading it.

'My Time has come. I'm so sorry that I didn't tell you this before hand but....I was sick.....for a very long time. I hid it from you....and you never noticed. Zhong Chenle...I will always and forever love you. I will watch you from the sky and someday....you might see me in the sky. I cherished our memories together.....and it's too late to confess now. You will forever be my little prince'

My eyes widened and I shaked my head. I look around and blink rapidly since I didn't want tears coming out of my eyes. "This can't be true" I shake my head and get out my phone. I start to call her number but she wouldn't reply. "DAMNIT!" I yell. I was already crying and run out of the school with that sticky note still in my hand. I was running all the way to her house that was five minutes away.

As I reached her doorstep, I bang on her door again and again. Her mom saw me at the front door and I instantly run up the stairs. "Chenle!" Her mom calls for me. I run up the stairs and run to her room. I look inside everywhere and did not see her.
"Y/n! Come Out! Don't be playing with me!" I cry. I sat on her bed and cry in my own arms. I look at all the photos that were hung up. Old pictures of us when we were little, and a crown with crayon scribbles that said 'the little prince'.

Her mom enters the room and looks at me. "Where is she!?!"I say through my cries. She then cries with me and looks down. "My poor little girl is up in heaven. She's gone, Chenle!" She sobs. "N-no...." I whisper. "Why?!? Why didn't she tell me!?!" I cry harder. "I failed to protect you...." I whisper

*a week later*

I was walking in the graveyard and showed up with red roses. I look everywhere for her grave when I spot her name. I rush up to the stone grave and hug her. "I'll be lonely without you..." I look down at her and place the red roses on her grave. "I'm such a fool for not noticing your feelings for me...." a tear dropped down my eyes.

"Kim y/n.......I loved you too"
