I spotted Jughead in the crowd and a smile broke out onto my face. I jogged over to him and his arms wrapped around me. I chuckled and hopped onto the back of his bike, picking up the spare helmet.
"Come on then. Take me away." I sat up straight and pointed ahead, Jug chuckling at my childishness.
"To the yard?"
"Where else?" I scoffed sarcastically. He chuckled and began driving.
"So, it's the show tonight? Carrie." Jughead started. "Ar-"
"Nu uh. You already know how I feel about musicals Jug. They set my teeth on edge." I cut him off and he sighed in frustration.
"Please Al, just to support the others? You can sit at the back?" He tried to bargain.
"Fine. But only because I love you." I stuck my tongue out at him behind his back, even though he couldn't see it.

"I told you that musicals are always a bad idea." I gasped in surprise.
"Al, you don't have to be strong, you can let me help you." Jughead offered, leaning his arm around me.
"I just can't believe he's back." I sighed, my hands shaking slightly after the disaster at the musical.
"I know, but it'll be ok, you know that right?" Jug held my hands to stop them trembling and looked me in the eyes.
I smiled ever so slightly and hugged him tightly, whispering into his ear.
"As long as we're together, we can take everything as it comes."
