INVOLVED .. IN WHAT?

THIRD PERSON.

after the five of the remaining group had finished going to dinner, they had all gone their separate ways.

johnny enjoyed the dinner with his friends, but still a little bummed out that mackenzie didn't tag along. but of course, he wasn't gonna ruin the fun night because of mackenzie not coming.

as he got into the car after bidding the other four a goodbye, his mind returns to back to mackenzie. it's been four years since their breakup. the breakup was a little confusing, which is why johnny had questioned mackenzie why she ended things with him.

but now since they were on break, mackenzie finished moving back to california, everything had seemed solved. her excuses were super easy to solve and now that they were on break. he couldn't understand why mackenzie still didn't want to be with him.

johnny held in his rage, he wanted to go to mackenzie's apartment (he found out from nadia) and ask her all his questions. what does he have to do to be her boyfriend again, how to become good enough? how to be yours?

he hit his wheel in anger. tears of stress and frustration flood up his eyesight. not knowing then that a car would collide with him.

mackenzie yawns when she finishes her hot and warm bath. she needed it after a long day and seeing her ex—boyfriend again.

mackenzie changes into her usual sleepwear, matching shorts with a silk button up. mackenzie makes her way to her apartment kitchen to make some dinner for herself.

her dinner had consisted of a salad and a milkshake, she's been out all day. of course a girl still needs to watch her weight. she prepares the counter for herself, ready to dig in. mackenzie gets on the comfortable stylish counter chair and starts to eat the dinner she made for herself.

mackenzie opens up her macbook and starts browsing the internet, finding some entertainment on her lonely dinner.

her phone rang beside her milkshake which confused mackenzie. not many people call her at this hour, the people who have mackenzie's number know that she's probably asleep at this time.

she looks at it and it was a local hospital number. mackenzie shows a confused look before answering. "hello?" she put her phone beside her ear, wondering what the call was about.

"hello, i'm sorry for interrupting anything. but is this mackenzie frances ziegler?" a young woman's voice rang in mackenzie's ear, she hums our a response and starts to slowly eat her salad.
