Katarah's pov:
I decided that we go to Starbucks to try to jog Nylah's memories. I know she loves that place, so hopefully a walk around the city will change something. I really hoped because I want her back. Not like I wasn't satisfied with her now but I just missed her. I wanted the Nylah that knew us personally and not like some strangers. I would love to say our inside jokes or talk about things that were on her/my mind.
"Nylah!" I called out. I heard a 'WHAT' from upstairs and giggled.
"Let's take a walk around the city!" I said. I heard her get ready and walk down the stairs into the living room.
"Mkay! Let's goooooo!!!!" She dragged out her words. She put her fist up in a Superman kind of pose and ran out the door. I shook my head and smiled at her goofiness. I locked the door and we walked all the way to the well known city just down the street. We talked on the way and she told me her encounter with a guy who had black hair and blue eyes. I presumed that it was Aiden she was talking about because no one else had black hair and blue eyes. Only brown or hazel. I burst out laughing at her save and almost fell on the floor.
"I-It was so embarrassing! I said a pick-up line to a guy I don't even know the name of!" She blushed. She was flustered which I found even more hilarious, making me laugh even harder. As we walked past the beach that all of us went to Nylah stopped in her tracks.
"So then he waved-Nylah?Are you okay?" I stopped mid-sentence. Nylah was just standing there with her head towards the rushing waves. Since it was almost winter, no one was at the beach since it was cold. It seemed as if she was witnessing something. Maybe it was a memory!
"Nylah?" I tried again. She snapped out of her daze and smiled at me.
"Yeah? Oh, sorry. Just something weird popped up in my mind." She shook it off.
"What was it?" I asked, curious to see if I was correct.
"It's just...Fine, I'll tell you." She sighed. Nylah then looked back at the beach with a confused look.
"I just saw a big group, with 4 guys and Clemintine and us. We were going to this very beach. The guy I said a pick-up line to was here too. It was...odd...It might be my imagination but I have a gut feeling that I've been here before..." Nylah said. I almost burst into tears at that moment. I walked up to her and hugged her tightly. I cried into her shoulder.
"K-Kat? Katarah? Are you alright bro?" Nylah panicked. I just cried even more.
"C-come on. Let's just go home." Nylah suggested and started to walk with me on her shoulder.
"Nooooo. I want to show you the c-city!" I cried.
"B-but you're crying! You're breaking down! We got to take you home-" She tried to reason but I refused.
"B-but we're almost there...I want to show you..." I whispered. I looked at the city and then at her with pleading eyes. She sighed again and started to walk towards the direction of the city. Nylah took out her phone after a bit of silence. She plugged in her headphones, plugging one into my ear and put on One Direction music to make me feel better.
I sighed in contempt and tried to calm down as Harry's voice echoed throughout my head.
"Thanks Nylah..."
Ryan's pov:
I rubbed my face in frustration as Taytum won another round of Call Of Duty.
"When will you let me win man?" I whined. He just grinned and killed me again.
"Nope! I'm very competitive when it comes to COD." He then laughed when he sniped me.
"HUZZAH!" He screamed as he won the round.
"TAYTUM YOU CHEATED!" I yelled.
"No I didn't!" He said like a child. We then went into a full blown argument about who won fair and square. Aiden came in with a bowl of popcorn and sat on the couch. He took a handful of popcorn and watched us fight.
"Do you mind?!" I growled. He shrugged.
"Oh, please continue. Just act as if I am not here." He said. I growled again and continued to fight with Taytum.
'These guys get on my nerves. But they're also my best friends...I have this feeling as if something important happened...' I thought as I argued with Taytum.
'Oh well, I'll find out soon.'
