Katarah's pov:
I sighed as I pulled on the tan and dark red checkered skirt. Today was the first day of my second year here at Dragon Academy.
I've been fidgety since I woke up. I was worried about everyone's thought about us. Us six... Er... Five. You know, about the 6 Great Warriors.
I was scared that they would be disappointed in us. I don't want to get bullied...
"You have your friends. You'll be safe." Crystal reassured me. I took a deep breath and nodded.
I closed my eyes as I exited my quiet, lonely house. The cool breeze of January greeted me.
The cool wind blew my long blonde hair behind me. I opened my blue eyes again and took a deep breath again. I smelled the fresh air of nature. The cold wind made my nose a little red.
I sneezed as I smelled burning food from the house across from my house. A girl with brown hair ran out the house. She was ashy and coughing.
I got a good look at her when I stepped a bit closer to her. She had a piece of light blue hair in front of her face. Her purple eyes were wide and surprised.
She was wearing the Dragon Academy uniform. She had red leggings under her skirt. I snapped out of my thoughts and ran towards her.
"Are you alright?!" I yelled. Her head snapped towards me and her face broke out in a cheeky grin.
"Ya, I am. I can't cook for the life of me." She said. Her hand was scratching the back of her neck. I gave her a small smile.
"What did you try to cook?" I ask. "Cereal..." She said. I looked at her and busted out laughing.
"I-don't-think-you-need to-cook cereal." I said in between laughs. She pouted and crossed her arms.
She looked the other was and I could see a little blush on her tan skin. After my little fit I asked her if she would like to walk with me to school.
She nodded and ran back. I assume to clean herself off. I waited for a few minutes and she came out all clean wearing the same thing.
I smiled and glanced at the time. We had 10 minutes till the first class. "Crappy poop! We're going to be late on our first day!!" I yelled.
"I have a shortcut. Do you trust me?" She said. "Ya, is this going to be dangerous...?" I asked cautiously.
She thought about it. "Nah, you'll be fine." She said. I breathed in and hesitantly nodded.
She instantly grabbed my hand and we jumped onto the roofs of houses. I screamed and I clutched onto her back.
By now I was riding on her back and we were jumped from roof to roof in inhuman speed.
"I didn't catch your name." I said after I calmed down. I could see the academy a few meters away.
"Sapphire. Sapphire Michell. Yours?" She said not looking at me. "Katarah. Katarah Walker. You gotta tell me more about you after school. Meet at my house?" I asked.
Sapphire nodded. She then gasped. "You... Are the real Katarah Walker?! One of the great 6 warriors?! OH MA GOSHEY YOU'RE MY FAVORITE. YOU CONTROL WATER!!!" She fangirled.
I cover my ears and nodded slowly. "Sorry. Where's Ny-" she stopped. I guess she heard everything.
We soon arrived at the academy and I ran to class saying goodbye. I ran to my seat then the bell rang.
