Chapter 5: The Great Apes rises on the full moon

Zen felt someone try to wake him up, "Hey Zen, you need to see this." Gohan shakes Zen's body as he's awake. Zen look at Gohan and rubbing his eyes.

"Man Gohan, why did you wake me up?!" He yawned as the cold wind shiver his body.

"Look at the sky." Zen look at the sky as he saw something was bright, it was a moon.

"It's my first time to see one." Zen felt excited as Gohan look at the moon.

"Wow, it so big." Gohan said. Zen and Gohan look at the moon and snap as his body reacted as they transform. Piccolo watched in confusion, their body began to grow dramatically, clothes shredding as they transformed into the giant oozaru form. The weight wat too much for the sturdy rock to bare; It crumbled and crashed down to the ground, they landed heavily on both feet as they began to rampage. Piccolo was clueless as what had just happened.

A blast from the monkey's mouth struck the distance and erupted, the area reduced to nothing, Piccolo stay in the air as he tries to figure what was happen. They roared out more and began to smash the mountain, bringing more destruction around them. Piccolo was pushed back up into the sky slightly. He glanced down as he tried to come up with an explanation.

"What on earth could have caused them to transform!? What happened just be – "

Piccolo gasped and turn around.

"The moon!"

He recalled Raditz had mentioned to Goku and his friends about a saiyan reaching their full potential in the presence of a full moon. This had to have been the reason why the boys had transformed! Not wasting another second, Picoolo quickly charged up an attack and fired it off towards the large satellite.

"DISAPPEAR!"

A couple of seconds went by before the moon was suddenly bathed in a bright light. A moment later it exploded in a dazzling bright display of light. The sheer force of the explosion quickly reached earth, battering the area with a terrifying and howling wind.

Two giant monkeys suddenly stopped as they turn back to normal children. These boys fell asleep on the ground.

Piccolo landing beside them and examining the damage surrounding them. To think they would be capable of such destructive force... He could have destroyed the whole planet with that kind of power! He turned his attention back to the naked boys beside him.

"It would seem I have discovered the secret behind your Saiyan powers... It looks as if I was right to remove the moon too; I'd hate to think of what would have happened had the Saiyans been under its influence." Piccolo muttered.

His eyes fixated onto their tails, "... I'd better make sure."

He reached down and grabbed Gohan's tail at the base, snapping it off and tossing it to the side, "It seems the tail is a Saiyan's weakpoint... Think of it a gift from me!"

He pointed a finger towards Gohan, firing off a strange beam of of light. Within the flash, Gohan was fully clothed in clothed in gear matching his father's and a sword beside him. The symbol on his back read 'demon' instead of the 'turtle' Goku's symbol clothes had.

Piccolo turned away and began to walk, the other boy was to his left. He too had a tail... Piccolo sighed and walked straight toward him. He grabbed his tail and ripped it out. "I have my own training to do... As I said you have six months to learn to fend for yourselves... If when I return you're both still alive then I shall provide you with training from Hell..." A wicked smiled appeared on his face, "You'll wish you were dead... " With that, he took off into the sky, leaving the two children to sleep.

The sun's rays began to rise over the horizon. A cool breeze woke him from his sleep, brushing across his face. He felt uncomfortable as he woke, "Zen, wake up! You've gotta see this!"

Zen didn't want to wake up, "Give me five more minute please." He grumble.

"We're on the ground! Please wake up Zen!" Gohan yelled at him. He slowed sat himself up and wiped the sleep from his eyes as he open them.

"Damn Gohan, all I want is going to sleep." Zen mumble. Their stomach rumble, they frowned that they hadn't eaten in 2 days.

Zen noticed the clothes Gohan wore were different.

"Where did you get those clothes Gohan?" He asked. Gohan blinked and looked at the clothes, gasping in shock.

"W_Where'd my clothes go? These aren't mine!" He looked at Zen and notice him were different too.

"Hey... you've done it as well!"

Zen gasped and examine his new clothes. "What the hell!? Where are my clothes?" He noticed there a sword lay beside him and picked it up. "HOLY CRAP! A real sword!"

"Hey Zen... How did we get down from that big rock?" Gohan asked as Zen noticed Gohan tail's gone.

"Woah! Gohan, your tail. It's gone!"

"It has. Your right!" Gohan gasped as his tail was gone, "But I'm not only one." Gohan pointed Zen butt.

Zen glanced down and screamed in shock, "MY TAIL!?"

"What are we going do now?" Zen asked, "We can't stay here. The dinosaurs will come back and eat us again." He shrugged.

"Yeah." Gohan nodded, flinching when his stomach grumbled. "... Maybe we should try to find food. I'm hungry."

"Great idea, I hope there's a fruit tree. I read it about them." Zen exciting as Gohan began to walk.

"Let's go if we find a lake, we can catch the fish."

"A lot of fishes. I hope it's taste good." Zen shrugged as they walk through the path.
