chapter 4: Friends?

The next day I got up really quickly changed clothes ran downstairs and made some pancakes for my family. After that I ran upstairs to brush my teeth
"Thanks Noe, the pancakes are really good." My mom said yelling from downstairs
"Your welcome mom." I said trying to put my hair on a ponytail.
"Bro! You know I like chocolate chip pancakes and not regular!" My brother said upsetley.
"Did you check the bottom stack!" I yelled back at him.
It was silent for a second.
"Oh Jesus Jack pot! Thanks sis." My brothers said his voice getting higher then normal.
"Any time." I said walking down the stairs.
"Mom leave early again?" I asked my brother trying to seem fine about it.
"Yeah she had to do "stuff" and won't be back till nine." My brother said sounding upset by it.
"Again!" I said sinking in my chair.
"Yeah, she said she was gonna pick up some pizza when she gets back." My brother said trying not to giggle by the fact she is gonna pick up food at nine at night.
"I'll make dinner tonight okay." I said looking at my brother.
"Thanks your homemade pizza will be nice." My brother said getting up grabbing his bag.
"Yeah yeah okay see ya dude." I said crossing my arms looking at the floor.
"Love you too Noe." My brother said looking at me then closing the door and left.
I then grabbed the cookies and cream cookie and ran outside and walked to school. School was normal as always homework pop quizzes and a lot of drama. Then lunch rolled around and I ran to Lora and my table.
"Hey Noe you good?" Lora said raising a eye brow wonder if I was bothered by something.
"Yeah I'm always good Lora just ready to give this cookie to Alana." I said showing it proudly trying to change the subject.
I don't want school to change it always felt like my safe place ever sense I met Lora. Sure she dosent know about everything that goes on with my house, but I don't want that I just want to relax and not have to worry about cooking or cleaning and just let the teacher do that for a little bit.
"Oh my gosh you are not gonna offer you super secret receipt are you?" My friend said dropping her mouth widely.
"I have to it always taste better." I said smiling at Lora.
"You have to give me one tomorrow okay." Lora said staring at the cookie in amazement.
"I think I can manage another cookie." I said rethinking about my schedule.
"Oh you don't have to if you busy" Lora said looking at me.
"No no I can do it I'm free." I said smiling ear to ear.
"How are you always so cheerful about things Noe? You like a fairy godmother to all." Lora said smiling at me.
"I sure am." I said spacing out for a little bit.
I just wish I wasn't the fairy godmother sometimes because I need one too.
"Uuumm... I'm gonna go and give the cookie to Alana and then ask her to be are friend." I said getting up and getting crumbs off my legs.
"Wait your already gonna ask?" Lora said confused.
"Yeah I'm gonna cease the moment and get us a new friend." I said bravley.
"Okay you go Noe you can do it." Lora said doing a cheering poise.
I walked over to Alana who was sitting alone again.
"Oh no you again." She said grumbling.
"Yup it's me here is the cookie I promised." I said throwing it to her.
She caught it in the nick of time.
"I don't want you cookies." She said setting it on the table.
"Well Mabey if we're friends we can have cookies and to awesome things." I said smiling ear to ear.
She looked at me confused.
"I don't want friends I'm fine on my own." Alana said putting her hoodie to hide her face.
"If you trust me you will have the time of you life." I said getting desperate.
"Why me dude, your supposed to be scared of me not trying to be my friend." Alana said looking down at her school lunch playing with the food.
"But I'm not scared I just want you to be a friend so you aren't lonley anymore." I said looking down at the ground sadly.
She looked at me for a second and then back down.
"Okay miss perfect if you want to be my friend so be it but don't think for a second I'm gonna open up to you and it's gonna be a happy ending fairytale."Alana said stabbing her food with her fork.
"You don't know that... alana." I said smiling and walked away.
I saw her staring at me confused but I knew what I did I have her a threat and I showed her I can be as tough as her.
