Nandini: perfect tea Manik! Thank you.

Manik: pleasure is all mine.

Nandini: you still remember my taste?

Manik: when did I forget it to remember now?

Ansh: paapa, let's play now.

Ansh drags Manik to the living room. They resume playing their video game. Nandini too joins them on the couch.

Nandini: Manik I have barely noticed any maids. Aren't there any?

Manik: no.

Nandini: but from when did you stop having maids?

Manik: since the day we broke up. This house is full of our memories. How do you think I can let any maid clean off our memories??

Manik all time was focused on the game and didn't even bother to share an eye contact with her. Nandini was fed up because of his attitude. So she angrily got up from the couch and went to the guest room.

Nandini : idiot! I am trying to talk with him and he is busy staring that TV such that he didn't even look at my eyes while speaking. He didn't know that those words from him affect me soo much. I will check whether he had unpack ansh's things.
Yes! As expected!! Lazy father! Lazy son! All they can do is sit on the couch and play that stupid lazy game. Why can't they just go out an play outdoor games? He is also lazy and he is making my already lazy son still more lazy!

She was muttering all this and put ansh's toys and other stuffs in her room and leaves to arrange the clothes in manik's room. She opened the door and....??!

Manik and ansh : we heard everything. Solly Mumma...!

Nandini didn't reply anything and went with ansh's bag to manik's room.

Manik and ansh too follows her like a kitten following their mother.

Nandini: what??

Ansh: Solly Mumma.

Nandini: thats ok ansh. You are still a kiddo! You know right Mumma always loves you!

Manik: anyone up for shopping??

Ansh: yech..!

Nandini: but why? And what shopping??

Manik: may be groceries and other stuffs??

Nandini: you don't have it in your kitchen??

Manik: no. I lived a bachelor life here nandini. I don't have all the necessities which we will need.

Nandini: so what do you eat without them?

Manik: i mostly skip breakfast. I eat lunch in office canteen and for dinner I eat bread toast. Or sometimes, instant noodles.

Nandini was shocked! She knew Manik was rich enough to hire a cook! She mentally scolded him for skipping his breakfast! Who on earth eats a simple bread toast or instant noodles for dinner?? What will happen to his health??

Ansh: Mumma....

To gain her attention, ansh pulls Nandini's dupatta.

Nandini: I am tired. Can we go tomorrow?

Manik: that's fine. I will order dinner from outside.

Nandini: no! Ansh doesn't eat take aways. Remember he is still a kid!

Manik: ok but what actually can we have for dinner then??

Nandini: common! You don't have any atta or rice or any dal??

Manik: no. All I have is instant noodles and bread packet.

Nandini: damn you Manik! Don't you know instant foods are bad for your health??

Manik was surprised seeing her care for him. She always scolds him for eating junk and fast food.

She silently walked away to kitchen and dumped all the instant foods in the trash bin. She quickly went to her room and changed herself. She saw Manik and ansh sitting on the couch. Manik was lost in his thoughts and ansh was busy on manik's phone.

Nandini: are you both planning to just sit like this or have any idea of going to shopping as well??

Ansh: so Mumma are you coming?

Nandini: why? Have you planned to go without me?

Manik: no, ansh: yes!

Nandini rolled her eyes on seeing the impossible father son duo in front of her sight.

Manik: we will be back in 5.

Nandini: ok. Come ansh. I will get you ready.

Ansh: no Mumma. Paapa will get me ready. Right paapa?

Manik: yech kido! Now let's hurry up or else this lioness will eat us!!

Saying so, he lifted ansh and ran back to his room Making ansh laugh. This made Nandini to giggle as well...!!
