After eating breakfast, I went upstairs and took a long shower. I quickly got out and I noticed that I forgot my towel. I drip dried for a few seconds then dashed into my room and scurried for a towel. I frantically grabbed a towel and rubbed myself dry. I looked over to see a smiling Dallas.
"Well that wasn't weird at all" he chuckled.
I blushed a bright red and wrapped the towel securely around my body. I ran at him and pushed him out of the room and locked the door. He sighed and after a while he left. I quickly got my clothes on. Today I was wearing blue jean shorts, tennis shoes, a white tank top, and a red plaid flannel over top of it. I put on a small bit of makeup and swiftly walked down stairs.
"How about we go out on a run we're running low on supplies" Dallas said.
"Sure" I nodded and got the girls around.
Rosie was wearing a camouflage dress and Nicole was wearing a flannel shirt like me but it was green instead of red. We headed out quickly and got into the car. We went to the gas station first. Dallas managed to get a lot of gasoline. I got medicine and food from the back counter and we left.
We went to a small store on the outskirts of town and jumped out of the car. We entered the store cautiously but only saw a couple zombies. Dallas and I quickly got rid of them and went to look for some water, food, and medicine.
We were at the back of the store searching through the isles, as we heard the bell to the front door ring.
"We know you're in here, we saw your car" a familiar voice said.
"Daddy?!" I called out.
I saw him walking towards me and I ran up and hugged him. He held me tightly in his arms. It felt like everything was back to normal. I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I looked down and saw a knife in me with blood staining my clothes. I looked back up scared and fell. Before I could hit the ground my dad held me by my neck and lifted me up high.
Dallas screamed at him but I couldn't think clearly.
I was thinking about my death. I was thinking about Nicole and how she would live without me. I taught her almost everything she needed to know. Now I'm thinking about Dallas. What would've life been like living with him forever. Marry him. Grow old with him. Now none of that would happen. All hope is lost for me.
"Fionna!!!!" I heard Nicole scream at the top of her lungs.
I opened my eyes my feet were still dangling off the ground. I kicked my dad in the groin and he fell to the ground. I swiftly pulled the knife out and I stuck it in his head. I heard the front door bell ring again and it was Lizzie and Noah.
I smiled at her and she smiled back. I heard the bell ring the final time and this time it was the walkers. I heard them moan and groan and stumble into the building. Soon enough my dad's group had failed to stay alive, but my group escaped with their lives.
We ran to the car and got in. I asked Noah and Lizzie to come back into the group and they accepted the responsibility. We headed back to the log cabin with the supplies we gathered around, plus my dad's supplies. As soon as we got into the house everyone rushed to get medicine and bandages for me.
After I was all patched up we all headed off to bed. That was the most scary, life threatening, and heart breaking day ever!
