Reasons To Smile (BTS x Reader)

The weather's nice today, so I tell him to meet me at the park we first met at in half an hour. He agrees and I begin getting ready. I don't know why I feel the need to get ready like this, it's Taehyung, not the president. It's not even a date... is it? The more I get ready, the more I drive to the park, the more I walk towards the ice-cream stand the more I wonder if his intention was a date. I would ask him but what if he says no, that would be a terribly awkward thing to do, so instead I sit down and look at my phone. I'm 10 minutes early, odd, I'm usually never early. I want to share another ice-cream with Taehyung, I want to see his smile. Do I want this to be a date? It feels like I'm looking for something more than just hanging out, but I can't do that, I can't just decide right here and-

"[Name]-ah!" Taehyung yells from behind me. I jump a little at his voice and turn towards him.

"Hey, Taehyung Oppa." I smile at him and pat the spot next to me. He doesn't sit down though, he walks right up to the ice-cream stand and orders another ice-cream, the same one we got when we first met. A fish-bread ice-cream. They taste so good I can't wait to have one, so I stand up to order a small one too.

"No I got you one," Taehyung says, walking away from the stand. He only has one though, I guess we're sharing. Again. Er... I can't tell if I should like this or not. He licks some of the vanilla ice-cream off the top. "You want some?" He pushes the ice-cream towards me. I use the spoon he gave me and take some of the tops as well, trying to avoid the part he licked off. "Oh, so proper, using a spoon." He takes his spoon out of his other hand and eats some off the top.

About the third bite through using his spoon he picks up some and puts it in front of my face. "Here!" He smiles his square smile and I open my mouth and eat from his spoon. It tastes slightly of cherry chapstick, which makes me wonder if that's what his lips taste like.

As we begin to finish the ice-cream he leans in towards me. "You can have the rest!" He gives me the rest. As I continue to eat the ice-cream he just looks at me, almost longingly.

"T-Taehyung?" He leans in closer.
