A girl that's been hidden for years tied up and abused finally escapes. she lives her life as if nothing ever happened. Amelia comes across her family and is faced with fears when they put her in school.
The train stops after and hour or so and I look over at Amelia who is still sleeping. The doors open letting people off, I pick Amelia up bridal style walking off the train and up the stairs to the street. I've decided ill take her to my house so she can clean up and rest while we try to find her family so I start on my walk home.
Its about an hour later and Amelia is now on my back. I turn down my street of the suburban neighborhood. My moms car is in the driveway, the house looking dead since I've been gone. Nervously I knock on the door awaiting for it to open. Soon my mom opens the door her cheeks and eyes red and puffy. When she sees me her face lights up "My boy, my Sweet baby boy!" She coos pulling me inside "hi mom" I say jumping a little to keep Amelia from falling. "Did you run away with some girl?!" She scoffs loudly as ahe realizes im holding someone. "No mom she helped me I was kidnapped and she was there. She needs food they only fed her once a week will you make us something?" I explain and she nods "where is penny?" I ask looking around "she is upstairs im sure Amelia can use some of her clothes" my mom informs as she walks to the kitchen.
I walk upstairs to my room letting Amelia off my back. Ahe holds rightly on to my arm as she tries to stand. "Here just sit and ill be right back okay?" I talk softly not wanting to scare her. She nods sitting down on the bed and I turn to walk out. I walk to penny's room knocking on the door. She opens it and smiles instantly hugging me "oh my gerd!! Where have you been?? Are you okay?!" She shouts loudly "not so loud you'll scare amelia. Ill tell you later can I borrow some of your clothes for Amelia?" I ask and she furrows her eyebrows "you have a girl here? Can I meet her?" She asks walking in the room to grab clothes. "Yeah you just have to be calm she's been through a lot" she nods handing me the clothes. I take them to my room penny following behind me. Amelia has her hands behind her resting on the bed to hold her up. "Hey this is my sister penny she said you could borrow her clothes" I say softly setting the clothes on my bed.
Amelia's P.O.V
A girl around 16 maybe walks in next to Ryder. She's got light brown hair and soft copper eyes. Her skin is pale but a natural pale. She has freckles and a warm smile. "I'm penny nice to meet you" she announces holding out her hand "Amelia" I greet shaking her hand softly. Ahe gasps as she sees the bruises on my arm and I pull my hand back looking away "its okay they will go away Ryder speaks softly to erasure both of us. "How about you take a shower?" He offers and I not standing but my legs give Ryder catching me. "Does a bath sound better?" He asks and I nod eagerly he helps me to his bathroom and sits me down on the toilet while he starts the water putting bubbles in. I smile at the thought. "Ill step out and let you get in if you need any help just call okay?" He speaks softly as if he would hurt me if he speaks to loudly "will you help me with my shirt?" I ask nervously and he nods taking the hem of my shirt gently. I lift my arms as he pulls the shirt off. He gasps when he sees the bruises and scars everywhere anger flashing in his eyes his jaw clenching. I take his arm softly "its okay it's okay now" I reasure him. Ryder nods relaxing a little "they starved you" he whispers looking at how skinny I am. I look away feeling nervous. He tuena around letting me get in the warm bath water."Do you need anything?" He asks still facing away "can you wash my hair?" I ask quietly "yeah sure let me just get a cup ill be right back" he says and soon he's gone. A sigh escapes my lips as I relax into the water. I turn off the water so it doesn't over flow. The tub is quite deep so the water and the bubbles cover everything.
Ryder soon comes back with a plastic princess cup and gently starts to wet my hair. He grabs the soap washing my hair. I hum closing my eyes. I hear him chuckle as he waahes the soap out putting conditioner in my hair now.

I'm laying down now in Ryder's bed. We have already ate and his mom has called her close friend to come check up on me. Apparently she's a doctor. I lay down pulling the blankets over me wearing pj pants a tank top and one of Ryder's hoodies. I wait for him to come back with his laptop when I hear padding of feet and nails on the wood floor. An animal jumps on the bed and I scream as it barks at me. Pulling the covers over my head it tries to get me. Ryder runs in "whats wrong?" He asks frantically pulling tbe thing off the bed "it attacked me that thing attacked me" I breath peeking out from under the covers. He starts laughing, laughing! The thing tried to murder me and hes laughing! "This is kota he won't hurt you he was just excited" I look at him in disbelief "what is it?" I question nervously "he's a dog you goof. What you've never seen a dog?" He laughs out and I shake my head. "Kota up" he comands the dog and it jumps on the bed "lay down" he says and he does scooting closer to me his tail wagging. "Look hes nice"

After a couple movies Ryder's moms friend arrives. I hear foot steps coming up the stares and I nervously fidget with the blanket. She knocks even though the door is open. She has a bright smile but her smile drops and tears build in her eyes. I look at Ryder nervously and his eyes widen in realisation. My eyes wander over to the woman again and she smiles widely "you found my baby girl!" She exclaims happily rushing over to me pulling me into a tight hug. Memories of me growing up with her and my siblings flash through my head and I wrap my eyes arouns her tightly "mama" I whisper tears rushing down my cheeks. She pulls away sitting on the edge of the bed "now now don't cry baby its okay" she coos whipping away the tears. "Look at my baby, all grown up and so strong" she smiles "now lets get you better yea?" She says pulling over her bag doing all her doctor things.
After she's done I lay back down feeling exhausted. Kota lays next to me his chin on my stomach. "I'm going to talk to Miranda" my mom says and I nod cuddling into the blankets. "Do you want to stay here tonight and then go home tomorrow when you have more strength?" Ryder asks his voice husky as sleep starts to take him "yeah is that okay?" I nod looking over at him. He nods closing his eyes.
