"I'm sorry sir, but what girl are you speaking of?"
The man growled, and I pressed my ear harder into the door so that I wouldn't miss a word. "You know who I'm talking about. The Potter girl. Where is she?"
"Lily? Well she certainly isn't here. We had a bit of an argument a few nights ago, haven't talked much since. I'm sure she's at home."
The man didn't waste any time after that. "Crucio."
I pushed away from the door and gasped. I turned to Hugo with wide eyes. "Go get help!" I reached for the door knob and burst out into the hall to where the pale, blonde Death Eater was standing over Peter's writhing body, smiling a bit. Mrs. Knightly started toward Peter, and the man pointed his wand at her and muttered "Petrificus Totalus." She froze in place, and I gasped, causing the man, who was more of a boy, to whip toward me. He seemed to be my age, and he lifted his wand and smiled.
"Expelliarmus!"
Another complete stranger was barreling up the stairs, and caught the Death Eater's wand as it flew through the air.
"Immobulus!" The dark haired girl smiled triumphantly as the pale boy froze in place. "Scorpius! Why am I not surprised to see you?"
Scorpius scowled. "Stella. What an unpleasant surprise."
The girl only smiled. "Oh Scorpy! You always know just what to say!" Her smile then faded as her eyes fell onto Peter and Mrs. Knightly. She mumbled a spell and Mrs. Knightly moved again, but she looked around, obviously completely confused and scared. Stella just smiled at her and led her to the couch before whispering a spell, and Peter's mother fell asleep. "Had to wipe her memory a bit. Couldn't have her going out of her mind."
Then she turned to Scorpius again. "Take the curse off the boy, or I'll drag you to Professor Potter myself."
He rolled his eyes. "I don't care what the twit thinks about me."
"That twit is my father, you pillock." I snapped.
The girl looked at me, as if just realizing I was present. "Blimey! Ello Ms. Potter! Your father sent me for you. It wasn't bloody difficult to find you, but I didn't think I'd find you with this wanker." She tilted her head before pointing her wand at Scorpius. "Lift the curse, Scorpius."
He spit at her feet. "Filthy half-blood."
"Stupify!"
He slumped to the floor, and Peter let out an animalistic moan of pain. I ran and slid onto the ground, taking his head into my lap. He was drenched in sweat, his eyes closed and eyebrows furrowed. I looked up at Stella for some kind of help. "Do something!"
Her dark eyes were sad. "I can't. Only Scorpius can lift the curse." She turned back toward him. "Ennervate."
Scorpius woke with a start, and rubbed his head. "You pompous, bloody-"
"Save it." Stella growled. "LIFT. THE. CURSE."
He smirked. "Give me my wand."
"If you don't lift the curse, I'll break your bloody wand in half." She seethed before handing it back to him. He laughed before we heard a loud crack, and he was gone.
"NO!" I screamed, and Stella's scream of rage mingled with mine. As I slumped over Peter's twitching body, another crack filled the air, and there was Hugo with my Aunt Hermione. I looked up at her, feeling completely desperate and strangely childlike. I was completely helpless in this huge world of wizards, with no way of protecting myself. I hated every part of it. Every single stupid part.
