After Aubrey completely moved out of the house and started living with Aaron, Alana got extremely lonely and missed always having her kids around. She thought about having another kid for a long time but decided against it for many reasons.
Instead she chose adoption as the route that she wanted to take. Of course she spoke to August about having more kids before making any major decisions, and he agreed to all of them, as she expected. So after two years of waiting and finalizing all the paperwork and legal agreements Alana and August flew out to Thailand and were able to adopt two beautiful twins. One was a boy and one was a girl.
Alana originally wanted two girls but August wanted to be able to have the experience of raising a son and doing fatherly activities with a boy for once, since he had been around Skai and Aubrey their whole lives.
They decided to keep the twins' original birth names which were, Sachihiro, for the boy, and Malee, for the girl.
Alana couldn't be any more happier to raise two more beautiful kids.
