“Ugh Where is that thing”
I’m looking for my hair brush while trying to get ready. I am going on a fashion trip with my two friends. All of us work for a fashion company named Snow. The trip is on a cruise and we were chosen to tag along and assist in the fashion shows. My three friends are Rebecca, James, and Jack who were on their way over to my house to pick me up.
“Ahh! There you are” I quickly picked up the brush from the ground and tossed it into my bag”
As I finished up the doorbell rang. I hurried down the stairs to open the door for Rebecca, James, and Jack.
“Please tell me that you are ready” Rebecca said with an annoyed voice.
“Hold on, I’m almost done” I said as I started putting my shoes on.
This cruise is a whole 2 months. There are about 20 fashion shows that are being held. The cruise stops by a couple stops and sometimes the fashions shows are held there or in the boat itself. Some of my designs are in the show and I’m so excited. I started carrying my bags towards the car. As I put my bags into the car I noticed some police cars around.
I asked Rebecca with a worried tone “They are on lookout again?’
“There was a warning from somewhere, so I guess it is mandatory to keep a lookout in every street around it.” Said Rebecca while closing the trunk.
“A couple months ago, there had been a devastating disaster in the nearby country. There had been an earthquake followed by a tsunami.” James stated with a upset look on his face.
I nodded in agreement, “Yeah it was pretty devastating.”
“Do you guys think it’s because of this whole artificial planet situation?” Rebecca asked all worried.
I answered back “Yeah I would assume so”.
“I swear I shiver every time I even think about what happened to our original planet.” Rebecca stated while rubbing her arms for some warmth.
“Can someone explain to me what exactly happened?” asked Jack with a curious face.
“Hold on, you don’t know the actual story?” James shockling asked.
“Hey, you try being with my parents, they don’t think I’m old enough to take in that information”. Jack stated while rolling his eyes.
“Well, around the time Kara, James, and I were elementary school, a comet was on the course of hitting our original planet.
Through calculations the scientists realized that it would hit earth in a way that would end all mankind.” Rebecca stated with a serious face on.
“Yeah, so they had to get together to find a way to make a second earth in order for mankind to survive.” I quickly added.
“This happened before you came on this earth, kiddo” James said while patting Jack’s head.
“Hey, I’m not that much younger than you.” Jack said while pushing James’ hand away.
“Wait, so is that why we have so many disasters happening lately?” Jack asked looking even more curious than before.
“Actually, the two planets Cosmo and Odis were supposed to be made perfectly so no other disasters would happen, but apparently some scientist lost the plans after making Odis.” James annoying stated.
“Yeah, which is why our planet is having all these problems” I added.
“So because of this one stupid scientist, our world has all these problems?” Jack asked.
“Indeed, because of that one person we have to struggle with worrying about the planet not working properly” Rebecca said while getting into the car.
“Wait, if Cosmo is like this how is Odis.” Jack asked with a confused look.
“Ha, funny you should ask. Actually Odis was made first so they had time to perfect it” I said rolling my eyes once more.
“Yeah so us medium and lower class people got placed in the imperfect planet while all the higher class people got sent to Odis” Rebecca stated while starting the car.
“That’s really unfair” Jack scoffed.
“We aren’t the government's top priority and life isn’t fair” I replied while signaling to Rebecca that the roads were clear.
During the separation, I was parted from my best friend Stanley. Stanley and I were best friends while growing up. We got along well and we were described as the same person because our personalities were identical. The only difference were that Stanley was from a rich family. Even at a young age, Stanley was very popular. He was a cute innocent looking kid and many girls were into that. I got very close to him, but because of the separation we had to cut our ties. I miss him like crazy and would do anything to see him again, but the likelyhood of that is at zero percent. Thankfully, James came into my life a year after the separation and he has been by my side ever since. We became very close and he’s always been with me through every tear and laugh.
