Fake Love

Chapter 1:

Ellie POV:
"Sorry mom I'm late!" I said loudly as I entered the kitchen. "It's okay honey just quickly go and take orders we are very busy today." My mom said as she was working at the register.  I quickly went and put on a apron, I take out my pen and paper and headed to a table, "Hello welcome to Paxton's what can I get you today?" I asked with a smile to the lady ordering. "I would like a hamburger with a side of fries please." She said. "Alright,  and would you like anything to drink with that?" I asked writing down her order. "Yes, I'll do a sweet tea." She said handing me the menu. "Okay. Your food will be coming soon." I said taking the menu from her. I was walking back to the kitchen to give the cooks the orders I've taken when all of a sudden, my cousin came up to me and said, "Look at those three hotties." I look up and I see three men in suits. "Really Penny, go take their orders." I said handing her three menus.

"Hey Ellie I have a order of a cheeseburger with fries, steak with mash potatoes and a breakfast combo. Can you take it to the table where the three men are sitting?" Robert(one of the cooks) said. I sigh to myself and carried them to the table. I handed them their foods and they were all very good looking but  two of them were on their phones. "Enjoy your food. Please let me know if you guys need anything." I said kind of nervously because they were very good looking. "Thank you." One of the guys said with a smile.

"Alright sweetie, straight home." My dad said kissing me on the forehead. "Okay. You guys have fun. But not to much fun." I said laughing and hugging both my parents. "Goodnight, I'll see you guys at home later." I said to my parents before heading to my car. "We love you." They both said at the same time. "I love you guys too." I said smiling widely. 

The next morning I woke up it was very quiet, it's usually not this quiet. So I put my slippers on and went to check my parents room to see if they were still asleep. I walked in and their bed was perfectly fixed, they probably headed to the restaurant early this morning. So I make my way to the bathroom to take a shower and get ready for the day.

I arrived at the restaurant but I didn't see my parents car. I wonder where they are, I headed in and I see all of our employees sitting down in a circle with their heads down. "What's going on?" I asked walking towards them. "Were sorry for your lost." My aunt came and hugged me. "What do you mean?" I said afraid to hear her response. "You don't know?" My aunt asked me with confusion. "No I don't." I said softly. "Yesterday as your parents were coming home from the movies, and a drunk teenager came and crashed into them. Their car flipped and fell down the cliff. They didn't make it." She said sadly.

No this can't be! This is a dream! I said to myself. Tears just start coming down my face and I didn't want anyone to see me cry so I ran out of the restaurant and I just kept running I didn't care where I was going, I just wanted this to all be a dream. I need to wake up.
