It's been a few weeks since Q told Sal his secret. Sal still couldn't get over the fact that his best friend was gay. It wasn't a bad, or shameful feeling, it was disbelief. Some happiness Brian, but another half of that was for himself. Sal was confused by all these feelings, it's a thing he's struggled with most of his life. He didn't know how to not get emotional about everything.
"Who's phone is ringing? Mine! Mine!" Sal's phone rang. It's Q.
"Sal, get to to office now. You need to hear this!" Brian said excitedly.
"Ok, I'm on my way" Sal didn't know what Q was excited about. But if he was excited then it must be something really good.
Sal arrived at the office, murr was the only one not there, so he had to wait to hear the good news. Joe and Q were both giddy with excitement.
"Can't you just tell me already guys?" Sal asked
"Not yet" Q and Joe both said at the same time
"We have to wait until everybody is here, it's not fair if murr is the last one to find out" Joe explained
8 minutes later Murray arrived.
"What's up guys? What's the news?"
Joe and Q sat Sal and murr together. Long pauses followed after that. Sal giggled "what is your deal guys?"
"Ok let's tell them" Joe said "one, two, three"
"We're getting our movie!" Joe and Q said at the same time again.
"What? Oh my god!" Sal couldn't believe it, they've wanted this their entire career, and now it's happening.
"This is amazing! We made it guys! God I love you all" Murr then hugged everybody one by one.
"Let's go out tonight, drinks are on me" Q offered.
Sal was extremely happy the entire time they were at the bar. All the guys did karaoke and danced while they were drunk. Everyone else at the bar had a good time too, the jokers went on the stage and were cracking jokes, their intoxicated minds, except for Joe, made everything that much funnier. The guys took a cab back to Q's house where they watched their own show together, which they didn't do often at all, unless they were with their families. This was a special night though, they finally got their movie, a dream all of them have always had.
"Guys I gotta get home, so I'll take Murr back, you have fun now OK? Ok?" Joe said.
"I'ma come with you Joe, i need to get home also", Murr wasn't very good with his words. Q stumbled over to Joe and James and gave them a giant bear hug and a kiss on the cheek.
"You two be safe. You got me?"
"We will Q worry you don't", Joe said. After that they both walked out the door.
"Why did I get jealous that he kissed them?" Sal wondered.
