Peter Parker and Ashlyn Thunderman have been best friends since they were little kids. What happens when they find out that they are both hiding huge secrets from each other?

On Monday, Ashlyn looked around before school for Peter, but he was nowhere to be found. Ashlyn headed to home room. A few minutes later, in walked Connor, holding two bright red roses.
"These are for you."
Then walked in Brooklyn.
"Here's two more."
Then in walked Lucas, followed by Ned each handing her two more roses. Finally, in walked Peter, holding a poster and two roses. Ashlyn looked at the poster and let out a small gasp. Will you be the Leia to my Han Solo and go to homecoming with me?
"Yes Peter. I'll go to homecoming with you."
Her friend and siblings let out hollers and clapped.
"Alright anyone in here that's not supposed to be in here, get out!" hollered the teacher.
Ned and her siblings ran out of the classroom.
"Stupid teenagers." mumbled the teacher.
Peter sat down next to Ashlyn as class started.

A week later, homecoming had come. Ashlyn was so excited to spend the night with her boyfriend, dancing and just spending time together.
"Knock knock." Brooklyn said as she came in. "Just wanted to let you know Peter is downstairs and you might want to hurry cause the boys are giving him the 'if you hurt my sister we'll hunt you down' talk and Peter seems kinda scared."
"I'm coming." Ashlyn said as she looked one last time in the mirror at her dress.
"Wow. You look beautiful." said Peter as Ashlyn walked down the stairs.
"Thanks Pete. You look very handsome too."
"Alright time for pictures." said Allison, Ashlyn's step mom.
After pictures, they headed to the school and met up with Ned and MJ, another friend of theirs. All four of them danced the night away. Finally the last slow song of the night came on, Perfect by Ed Sheeran [play].
"May I have this dance?" asked Peter, making Ashlyn giggle.
"You may."
As they danced, they laid their foreheads against each other.
"I love you so much Ashlyn."
"I love you too Pete."
"Ashlyn I love you so much that when I think about the future, I don't know what to expect but all I can picture is us. I know we just started dating but I mean it. I don't know what the future has in store for us, but I hope we get to face it together."
"Pete, I've always seen myself with you. Now that we're together, it feels surreal. I never thought you would ever go out with a girl like me but I'm glad we're together."
"Don't ever doubt yourself. You are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen and just like the song that we're dancing to right now says, darling, you're perfect, both tonight and everyday. No matter what you're wearing. You will always be perfect in my eyes."
"Oh Pete stop it. You're being cheesy again."
"You know you love it."
"I know. Shut up you dork."
"Gladly." Peter said grabbing her chin, making her look up.
Peter leaned in and so did Ashlyn. Next thing you know, they are sharing their first real kiss, making the night even more magical. After the dance, the two headed back to Ashlyn's house, where they watched movies the rest of the night.
