Prologue

My Name Is Scarlett, at least, that's what everyone calls me. I have lived in sector E my whole life. 19 Years, I have suffered, I have died and lived at the same time. Time doesn't exist, only when you are counting down the second. It could be a different day in the other sectors, time could fly by. But I have never known what it was like there, how much of a difference it makes to see green landscapes, instead of dirt and cabins with graffiti and bleached carpets to hide the dirty secrets. Guards don't exist in this sector, it's live and kill or die by being killed in this life. Only the strongest live.

My whole life, i have been alone. But it hasn't always been like that. I used to have a mother, a father. A older brother and sister. I had a family like everyone else. That until one night, the earliest memory I can remember. My whole family died that night, I've been alone ever since. And I have no idea who's the killer was. I was hidden, the only place that anyone could hide and the chose me.

People say it was a miracle I survived. But I don't see it that way, it feels like more suffering has only resulted in me surviving. But now, I have three friends, who help me survive and breath each day.

And we have a dream.

To escape.

It's only a few days until we do, until then. I'm saying goodbye, to this rotten hell that took my family. Then, I will carry your legacy by leaving this place. To bring awareness to what happens here.

It's the kingdoms dirty secret they want to sweep under the rug.

And I'm going to change that.

My Name Is Taehyung, and I am entitled to the throne. I live in the castle in sector A, for 20 years, I have been breathing the same air, everyday is the same, learn the ways my father ran the kingdom, how to bow, how to walk, how to speak, every little thing is something to learn specifically. My mother, the queen, is the only one running the kingdom, my father, the king, died a year ago, but no one knows why, nobody noticed anything. And I always wanted to know, I asked and investigated. But my mother told me to focus on my studies. My brother, Jungkook, is simply never home, and when he is, it's with a new girl every time. My mother dislikes the way he is, tells him that she will disown him if he continues, but he doesn't seem to care. He actually seems to enjoy making her angry.

Now, at the end of this year, on my birthday, I will have my coronation. And I have so much more to learn, I have so many people to meet. I wish I could travel to see the other sectors. But my mother forbade me to leave sector A until I grow older, or at least until I'm king.

Now, I wish for time to go by faster, yet, slower. I'm nervous that I won't be good at being king, but yet I'm so excited to see what my father used to before he died.

I will live in your legacy father, I will figure out what happened to you.

And once I figure out how you died, I will make sure, that it never happens again. Not in my kingdom.
