IT WAS DUSTY, a brown haze scattered my vision. Each atom of sand scraped my body, burning my skin.

I sat here, on the roof of a wooden building, the tallest building in this sector. My eyes scan my surroundings, trying to decipher what the world would look like if I could see what the world wants me too.

"I figured you would be here." I chuckle, turning back to see one of my best friends.

"You know me well, hoseok." He gives me a warm smile before walking closer to me, and sitting on the edge beside me.

"Of course I do, if I didn't then you would have kicked me in the a•• long ago." I give him a crooked glance before turning my eyes back to the landscape.

It was silent for a moment, before he decided to speak again.

"Scarlett, are you sure you want to do this? " I feel his intense gaze burning my skin, tearing me open and leaving me hollow in front of him.

"Yes, I need to do this hoseok, do you realize how big of a deal this is?"

"Of course I do, I just- I needed to know if this is truly what you want to do. If we leave me may never have the opportunity to come back-"

"Hobi, I am never coming back. This place is only bad memories for me, it's hell. And I never ever want to f•cking come back here." I speak harshly, hoseok only nods and agrees.

"I'm so f•cking glad you think that way too." He chuckles.

"Hey guys!" A booming female voice cheers from behind us. The two of us both turn our heads and wave towards the new people.

"You two are here getting one last view without us? Should I be hurt?" Jimin pouts and puts his hand over his heart, stifling whines as rose just crosses her arms lifting her eyebrow.

"Hey, scar left me too. I had to come fetch her myself." Hobi wraps his arm around my waist, pulling me close and I whine

"Yah, I just thought you guys wouldn't want to come."

"You should have at least asked dork." Rose buts in and pokes my nose before sitting down beside me, Jimin sitting down beside hobi.

I didn't notice that it had already started turning dark, that the dust blacked out the sky. That the stars had begun to hide.

I nuzzle my head onto my best friends shoulder and close my eyes.

This was the last night here, this would be the last time you would be all together on this rooftop.

And then a new chapter of my life would begin.

And I have no idea how that will play out.

"Jungkook, curfew just started." I stop in my tracks after hearing the alarms of the districts go off.

"S*it." I groan and look around for a place to hide for the next hour until the patrols are sent off.

I grip her wrist and pull her along with me. I find a dark slim ally, and pin her to the wall. She gasps at the move.

"I'm going to need you to be quiet baby, can you do that?" She gulps and nods, holding my hand tightly before nuzzling her head into my neck.

I let her do whatever she has too to distract herself, I let her hands roam my body, her shivering body desperately holding onto mine, meanwhile my eyes remain on the ally entrance, hearing footsteps and seeing flashlights move down the street. I can feel her become restless.

"Jungkook- ah, I'm scared." I turn my glance towards her, the moon reflecting off of her eyes. I give her a small smile and kiss her forehead.

"It will be alright Jade, I won't let them hurt you. You know that."

"But- if they find us-" I shush her with my lips pressing against hers.

"I'm going to need you to shut those pretty little lips of yours and trust me." I mumble against her lips. I can feel her body relax a bit. I put one of my hands on her lower back, pressing her more into me, letting our bodies mold into eachother, her back being pushed more into the wall.

"Okay, okay I trust you." She whispers, her arms wrapping around my neck, I give her small kisses on her neck until I don't hear anymore voices from the street.

"Let's go." I whisper, wrapping my fingers through hers. I can feel her body shake out of nervousness.

We just need to get her back to her base, it shouldn't be to long now.

I pull her closer to me, I kiss her forehead softly as we walk. We dodge guards and patrols that roam the street, trying to catch anyone breaking curfew.

"When can I see you again?" I ask as we approach the bed and breakfast hotel.

"We have a mission to go do tomorrow so a few days at least." I pout

"That's too long baby." She gives me a small smile before wrapping her arms around my neck and comes closer to me when we arrive outside.

"I didn't ask for it to be that way kook, you know how I feel when I'm away from you for that long."

"Where are you going?" I ask, tilting my head.

"Down to sector D, we have a few people to transport." She explains and I feel a strain of worry flow through my veins.

"Will you be safe?"

"Namjoon would never let me get hurt, so don't worry. We will have enough people to protect us." I smile

"Good. I'll be here waiting for you to come back." I kiss her lips once more, but this time it's more passionate, the moonlight adding more feelings into the kiss.

"Goodnight Jade." I whisper, she gives me a small smile before whispering

"Goodnight my guardian angel."
