Obliged

Chapter-6 (confrontations)

"Mom, Dad, Where the hell are you guys?"
"Skye, language please" said mom
"Are you freakin' kidding me? Language my fucking foot, how could you guys hide something like that from me, your own daughter? Huh?, well nothing to say now? Cat caught your tongue?" I screamed

Mom came forward gave me a glass of water, and asked me to calm down.

I said, I won't, not when you are hiding something that has to do something with my life. No I won't.

"She won't, and I will support her in this one" as I turned to see who it was, I saw Jacob, standing and his fists closed. He only does this when he is really trying to avoid getting angry. And his anger was just justified. It is not everyday you marry off your sister to a complete stranger for a deal a stupid oath.

Jacob said "I support her completely and she won't do anything she doesn't want. And, no one can force her in doing things until she wants, as long as I live".

Jacob was the best brother anyone can ever wish for. He knew just when to tease me and when I need him completely. He understands me more than anyone. He adores me and also cares for me. He can kill anyone who messes with me. I know he can get quite protective sometimes, but I know he does so because he cares for me. Because, he loves me.

I stood next to him. And, as I couldn't take it anymore, I started crying because I know, my one decision can change everything. It can ruin my entire families reputation and wealth. We can lose everything we have. But, just for that sake I cannot ruin my life. I didn't know what to do so, I cried and cried and cried in Jacob's arm. He always used to give me his shoulders to cry on. He always helped me, with my problems, he always knew how to cheer me when I am sad, but, this time he just didn't know what to do to make me feel better because, at this moment nothing will work.

I sat on the floor, broken, don't know what to do next. But, I knew crying won't help me. Crying won't solve my problems. So, I composed myself and stood up. Went to my room, washed my faced, changed my clothes and then again went down. I took Jacob and left from there.

I could hear my Mom scream "where are you guys going?", "Skye What are you up to?"

I didn't bother to hear her, and simply left. As, He started the car, Jacob asked "Okay, so, where are we off to angry bird?"

I said to the "Montalvo's place.''

He paused for a bit and then said "sorry, I think, I heard Montalvo's house.'' I told him "Brother you heard right, we are going to the Montalvo's place, where that idiot Lucas lives."

He said "there is no way in hell possible, I will take you there. I will not allow him to get close to you, let alone know you."

I said "Please, I need my answers and I know he will be able to help me. I just know, so, please take me there, because if you don't I will tell Belle to drive me there. So, you want me to go with Belle then it's fine. I am calling her."

Jacob took my phone and said "I will take you, I also have to keep my eyes on him, and I am also having this urge to break some bones today."

I said "No no no you won't fight anybody, we are going there to just talk. Promise me Jacob you won't kill anyone let alone break bones!"

He said "No promises but, I will try"
I screamed "No, I am not taking chances with you, I am taking Belle."

He said "Okay I PROMISE, happy now?"

I said yes, now let's go.
