Vexus spun on his heel and sent the snickering hero a cold glare, "For the last time, stop talking to me like that. And for your information, I have plenty of girls desperately climbing on top of each other just to get to me. I'm practically showered with compliments every day."
Primrose shrugged the best she could while being tied up, "If you have so many ladies waiting in line for you, then isn't it illogical for you to always chase after my attention?"
He opened his mouth to retort, but shut it, knowing she was right.
He glowered, "You're so annoying."
"Maybe to you."
"No," he started, fetching his drink as it floated in mid-air, "Once I capture your little partner-in-justice, I'll finally be able to continue with my evil bidding. You may have won every other battle, but I'm going to win this... more important battle. Then you won't be around to annoy the crap out of me."
She winked, struggling to maintain consciousness as she felt the poison gradually get stronger, "Isn't that what heroes are supposed to do?"
