Hey guys, I just want to say a huge thank you to my beautiful girlfriend lissyanddw, she has a book out called pink thistle, it's amazing if you haven't checked it out already I recommend it and a thank you for your support in this I hope you enjoy.

It all started one sunny afternoon, the year was 2095 when a massive 'cloud' that had no set shape blocked out the sun for days on end. Soon enough people started to come up with theories about this so called 'cloud'. Word quickly spread around the world. Some people thought it was the end of the world, others thought it was pollution but I was the one of the only ones to think that it wasn't a cloud at all, I thought it was a ship of some kind, like a zeppelin or a warship. The only other person to believe me was my best friend and just so happened to be my only friend Angela; a young, strong and independent woman who loved to draw and read. I loved watching her draw she was amazing at it. On a weekend we would either go down to the archery range or somewhere to free run for beginners and we learned from each other, but because of the lack of sun we went to an indoor archery range and for free running, well, we just practiced on the ground, it was a lot less fun on the ground, but we always managed to make the most of it. One day the 'cloud' started to move out of the way of the sun but instead of moving away it was getting bigger, it was coming down to land. We both yelled out at the same time "I knew it!" then ran home. When the ship had landed, the sun was back out; it was warm again. We went out into our backyards, I climbed the fence and said "Can you feel that warmth," she looks over from her seat on the deck and sarcastically replied "No Anthony, I can't," we both laughed. I get down from the fence and lay on the grass and yell over to Angela "It feels so good after two years of no sun," suddenly soldiers came bursting through the door, the First Sergeant took his helmet off and looked over at me; it was my dad but he didn't look happy. His men started placing small amounts of explosives around the house and I quickly realized that there was only enough explosives to damage the house I ran to the fence and screamed over to Angela "GET ONTO THE LAWN QUICKLY!" she doesn't question me as she runs to the lawn I could see soldiers doing the same thing in her house so could she. I look over at my father in absolute despair, he doesn't look me in the eyes but he knows I'll be after him. My father takes his radio out of his vest and says into it "This is First Sergeant Creed, status report" the reply I hear is from Angela's Father "This is Corporal Red, charges set and armed, ready when you are Sergeant". I look over the fence and see Angela curled up in a ball on the soft luscious long grass crying but she's not sad she's angry angry at her father for what he's about to do Angela's father doesn't look back at his daughter ashamed of himself I hurl myself over the fence and hold her tight to protect her from the coming explosions, as the houses explode one of the shards of brick cuts my left arm open, I scream out in pain, I can't move my arm so it must have cut through a muscle I think to myself as another half brick hits me this time in the head I topple onto Angela still protecting most of her a shard of glass flies through and cuts halfway up her arm she howls in agony. As the dust settles I rip a long strip of my shirt off and tie it around her bicep area, then I pass out. I awake in the same spot as I was before I had lost consciousness with a tourniquet around my bicep stemming the blood flow was Angela's older brother Leon while Angela was tending to her own wound. I say in a odd charm to Leon "Hey Leon how are ya" he looks at me "Shut up and don't die" I laugh and explain that I can't move my arm he looks at me then that at the cut and says "Well no wonder it's gone through the muscle" "You should thank me" I reply

"Thank you what for?" I look at him and reply "For protecting your sister" he looks at me funny and snapped "Oh that you didn't do a very good job did you?" "Well excuse me for preventing worse injuries" I stated "Our dads where the ones that did this not me" I pointed out "WHAT!" he screams half apologetically half angry. That day we all swore vengeance upon our those soldiers. I am Anthony Robert Creed and along with my friend Angela Rose Red and her older brother Leon Hamish Red we shall take vengeance upon our fathers and this is our story.
