Jae walked beside Jimin through the path that ran to the campsite. A little earlier she had watched Hana being "helped" along the path by a guy that Hana has been eyeing since last year. Jae couldn't help but smile. Then frown as soon as she caught a glimpse of Choon-hee struggling along the path in her heels. Calling out to anyone within earshot to help her. She actually had the nerve to whine about how long and hard the pathway was. Within a few minutes, a guy from another class was attempting to help her, Choon-hee however did not seem thrilled with him and continued to berate him as he helped her over rocks and downed trees.

Sujung was about 10 meters behind her and Jimin. She noticed his watchful eyes, traveling up and down her body as they climbed the terrain. Jimin seemed unfazed, or at the very least ignorant of Sujung's glares. Every time Sujung would draw closer, Jimin would pick up his speed and she would immediately match his pace. The thirty minute walk to the campsite felt as though it may stretch on forever. When they finally made it, Jae felt as though her lungs might  explode. Her throat burned and so she reached into her bag and grabbed her bottle of water.

Jimin reached for the water after she took a drink from the bottle, and she stared at him in confusion while trying to pull it out of his reach. "Yah, student, I'm thirsty." She didn't let go of the bottle, so he placed a hand over hers and brought the bottle to his lips. Jae let loose a quiet shriek, one that would have embarrassed her to no end had someone heard it. Jimin laughed as he released the bottle and her hand. "God, try not to over react. The guy over there may think I'm trying to hurt you and rush over here to "rescue" you." He gestured air quotes with his fingers as he looked past her at Sujung, resting against a tree about 30 meters away.

Jae felt heat rise to her cheeks as she shook her head, "I don't know what you are talking about. Which guy?" She turned to look around, knowing damn well which guy he was talking about. Jimin didn't answer her question but instead grabbed for her bag.

"Come on, I'll help you set up your tent."

Everyone's tents were set up and jobs were assigned to students. Jae was paired with Choon-hee and the boy that had helped her over the path, to find firewood for the campfire. Choon-hee was next to no help, but the guy, Kim Taehyung, was polite and helpful. He seemed content to ignore Choon-hee's cries now, and stuck close to Jae's side, asking about her classes and different assignments. It was easy to conversate with him, and she found that they had a lot in common between their families. The conversation flowed until they reached the campsite once more, with Choon-hee bringing up the rear with a total of six sticks in her hands.

"Jae, you should eat dinner with me and some of my friends, I think they would really like you." Choon-hee scoffed, annoyed that she was failing in being the center of everyone's attention. Jae couldn't believe her luck, Hana was off with that guy, and she hadn't been looking forward to depending on Choon-hee for cover from Sujung.

"I'd love to meet them and eat with you guys!"

"Great. Follow me." Taehyung led her through the maze of people beginning to form the dinner line and straight to a spot in the back of the camp. To Jae's surprise, Hana sat outside the tent at a small fire.

"Oh, hey Jae! I didn't realize you were joining us!" She blushed a deep pink color and smiled. Jae couldn't help but smile back at her friend. "I don't know if you met Jin yet," she motioned toward the tall boy beside her and let a huge smile spread across her face and straight into her eyes. Jin smiled at Jae and gave her a small wave before turning his attention back to Hana.

Out of the corner of her eye, Jae saw Taehyung make eye contact and give a small nod to someone beside her. She turned slowly, hoping they wouldn't realize that she had noticed. To her surprise, Jimin stood beside her with two plates of food. "Here," he pushed one of the plates into her hands and took a seat in front of the fire.

"Um...thanks."
