"God, I hate waiting like this." Elle complains as I watch Spencer play with a rubik's cube.
"Elle, do you think it's weird that we knew that ballad?" Spencer asks her quietly, still playing with the rubik's cube. I look at him then her then him again and back to the rubik's cube.
She chuckles and replies, "I don't know how it is that either of you know half the stuff you know, but I'm glad y'all do."
"Do you think it's why I can't get a date?" He questions quickly and quietly, looking up at her.
She glances at me before asking him, "You ever ask anyone out?"
He thinks about it before responding, "No."
I chuckle as Elle says, "That's why you can't get a date." The telephone rings and I answer.
"Agent Audie." I say, still smiling.
"How dare you." The person snaps angrily and I lose my smile.
I cover the mouthpiece and say, "Gideon." Everyone becomes alert and Gideon races over.
"Line 9, Penelope. Line 9." JJ says into the phone as I put Tommy on speaker.
"You stupid, incompetent sons of b*tches! I don't make mistakes! I am death! You hear me?! I am death! You'll see now. Tomorrow. Mark my words, you will see. And while I'm taking her, I'm gonna be thinking of you. See you soon, Ms. Audie." He hangs up and everyone looks at me as my heart stops. My brain replays the words, see you soon, Ms. Audie over and over again.
"Anything?" JJ asks as my heartrate increases. "She says she got nothing." My heart drops into my tummy.
"Nothing?" Morgan questions and I breath heavily.
"We missed him?" Hotch asks desperately. He looks at me and I force a smile at him.
-
They thought it best to send Morgan and I away to a hotel room. "Morgan, I'm scared." I confide as he walks out of the bathroom.
He sits beside me on the bed and questions, "You really think I would let anything happen to you, Pumpkin?" I lean into his shoulder and cry.
-
I wake up from the nap Morgan thought I needed to calm down to see that my hands were tied with ducktape behind my back and a piece over my mouth. I notice a man standing over me, "Cooperate and you'll be alright." He tells me and I struggle when he comes closer, screaming as loud as I can. He pushes me into my tummy, my face towards the door when the team comes in. Hotch and Gideon in the front followed by Elle, then JJ, then Reid, and lastly a beaten up Morgan. "I'll shoot her." The man says from behind me.
"No, you won't, Franklin." Gideon replies.
"Yes, I will." Franklin argues.
"If you hurt her, we'll kill you. We'll just say we caught a low-life burglar. You didn't turn out to be Tommy after all. You will remain uncaught." Gideon says as he walks closer, leaving the others behind, "After a while, people will forget you. You'll be nothing. Once every five or ten years, they'll do a TV show. They'll ask, 'What ever happened to that Tommy guy? Why'd he disappear?' Then they'll stop talking about it all together.
"Put the gun down. Come on. Walk outta here with me. I'll make sure your face is splashed across every newspaper and TV in the country. Tommy Killer: Franklin Graney. Everyone will see you then. Bundy, Dahmer, Graney. Whole world will know who you are. It's up to you, Franklin. You can be famous, or you can be invisible."
There is a huge pause before Franklin asks, "You'll tell everyone?"
Gideon nods, "I have a media specialist outside right now. It is your choice." He lies.
"Promise?" Franklin asks so meekly I would feel bad for him if he weren't a murderer.
"Yes, sir. I promise." Gideon soothes, nodding his head. There is another big pause before I hear a gun being put down, "Back away from the gun." Gideon demands. Everyone rushes forward. Gideon, Hotch, and Elle going to Franklin and Reid, JJ, and Morgan coming to me. They carefully remove all the tape and I am shoved into a group hug, I start sobbing out of relief.
"Morgan, don't ever tell me to sleep when someone's after me again." I tell him and he chuckles.
"Yes, ma'am." He says, saluting me at the end.

I sit in front of Gideon, a chess game in front of us, I think of my next move when Gideon says, "Oh, I almost forgot. I have something for you." He digs into his bag.
My eyebrows furrow, "Oh, yeah?" I question.
"I forgot to give it to you at the party." He explains handing me a blue box with red ribbon tied around it.
I take it out of his hands with a smile and state, "But you don't give birthday presents." He shrugs and I pull the ribbon and tear the wrapping paper, my eyebrows furrow at the box and I glance up at him as I open it. Inside are two tickets to the Dallas Cowboys. "Wow. The 'Dallas... Cowboys.'" I read off, smiling at him even though I am not the biggest fan of sports.
"It's a V.I.P. box." He explains.
"Wow. Thank you so much." I tell him, looking at the tickets.
"Ever been to a pro football game?" He asks me and I chuckle.
"No, I honestly didn't even know this was football." I laugh at myself and he chuckles.
"You're gonna love it." He tells me and I become confused.
"We are. You're coming with me, right?" I question but he shakes his head.
"No. Someone else on the plane is a huge Cowboys fan." He tells me and I grow even more confused.
"Who?" I ask, looking around before turning back to him.
"Only person in the world who calls you Spence." He explains and I blush.
"Mandy?" I question flusteredly.
"She's a huge Cowboys fan." He tells me and I look back at her. She is curled into a ball, still in her sleepwear, reading a C.S. Lewis book, a cup of coffee on the table in front of her. I turn back to him and think. "Wh-What should I say?" I ask him nervously. He just looks at me and I take that for a 'be yourself' so I put the tickets in my shirt pocket and move my piece, "Checkmate." I tell him and walk over to her with a smile.

I hear someone clear their throat and look up to see Spence sitting beside me, "I heard you're a fan of football." He says and I glance at Gideon.
I nod and reply, "Yeah, I'm a huge Cowboys fan. I'm from Texas so I gotta be."
He clears his throat and pulls out 2 Dallas Cowboys tickets, "Would you-Would you like to go to a game with me?" He asks nervously and I smile.
"With you? Always." I tell him.
