Jesse- For the first time I thought about: what if I fail? For the first time I had doubts about myself and how to continue with life if I fail. I have always been a person who easily dealt with failure because I was mentally strong. I always knew no matter what happens, it could always get worse, I would still have someone who has my back and failure wouldn't change my whole life. Now was different. If I fail now, my life would never be the same. If I fail now the life of every person I love would be over.

Nika pov:
"Please calm down! You're making me crazy!" I laughed at my brother. Today was the calculated birthday of Jesse's and Sophia's child and my brother was nervous as hell. For hours he ran around the house, preparing every detail while Sophia and I sat on the couch, stroking Loki and enjoying the view. "Actually I don't even feel like it's gonna happen today." Soph laughed. As he understood Loki barked agreeingly. Jesse stopped for a second. "I am going to be a father! Why am I not allowed to be happy?" He said confused. Sophia and I laughed. "Of course you are allowed to be happy, but just go slower please." I told him and he continued his journey from Sophia's belly to the packed hospital bag, the kitchen, the baby room and back. I just looked at Sophia and shook my head in amusement.

At 8 pm. the baby still wasn't ready and Jesse slowly acknowledged that it wouldn't happen today. We had dinner and watched a movie before I went to my room. I changed into fresh pajamas and turned on all my fairy lights around my bed. Then I grabbed my phone to check Instagram for a little. Since Jesse made me public my number of followers grew on nearly 4k. I really liked the community. They were all so sweet and nice and I always tried to answer all the dms.
The very last dm I read tonight was just like so many others. It said: Hi Nika, You look very pretty on your pictures. Wish we could meet someday. XO. The profile was mostly blank. No pictures, no biography. Only a Name. Taylor. I often got messages from boys but I mostly answered them nicely and if they wanted more I told them straight I wasn't interested. I did the same with Taylor. My answer was:  Hi Taylor, Thank you. I really appreciate it but I'm sorry about meeting. Maybe we see each other one day coincidencely. Nika
I liked it and after I quickly texted Robin a good night I turned off my phone. The door opened a split. Loki came in and hopped on my bed. After I also turned out the fairy lights I fell asleep with Loki beside me.

Jesse pov:
A bloodfreezing scream woke me up. I instantly shot up from my bed. Next to me laid Sophia screaming and holding her belly. "It's happening." She managed to say between heavy breaths. I jumped up and picked her up bridal style. "NIKA!" I yelled, hoping it would wake her up but she already stood in the hallway with Loki. She was also awoken by Soph's screams. "I got the bag." She said and we ran out the door to my car. Nika sat with Sophia in the back, Loki on the passenger and I sat on the driver's seat. During my preparing phase I looked for the fastest way to the next hospital. I was so nervous and Sophia's constant screams didn't help at all. Suddenly I got a weird feeling inside my stomach. I looked to the back and immediately knew that something was wrong. Nika saw it too. "Oh my god, you are bleeding!" She said with fear. My sister was right. Sophia was bleeding between her legs. I hit the gas pedal as hard as I could and five minutes later we arrived at the hospital. I carried Sophia inside and yelled for help. Nurses came with a stretcher and the last thing I could say was "She's pregnant." before they wheeled her off and Nika held me back.

We sat in the waiting room for four hours. Nika held my hand the entire time and I was thankful for it. I couldn't imagine if something would happen to Sophia or my unborn child. I must had fallen asleep because Nika shook my shoulder and I shot up from my chair. "What's happening?" I said disoriented. Then I remembered everything when I saw the doctor standing in front of me and my sister. "Just calm down and listen to him." she told me. So I did. "We had to do an emergency C-section because the baby laid wrong in her belly." The doctor started and I imagined the worst. "But fortunately everything went perfectly fine and you are now father of a little..."
