Research was actually done before the making of this book to ensure no stereotypes, wrongful vocabulary, misconceptions, etc. were used in this book. If any are found they were used purposely to develop character and I do not believe anything negative that will be written. If that makes sense.
This is not sexualizing [or fetishizing ] the HOH [hard of hearing] community. It sucks I have to say this but people actually do this. I'm simply writing this to expand character diversity and to explore how these characters will react in such situations.
