          Haddonfield, Illinois
October 29th, 1978

I inhaled heavily, the tasteful smell of fresh food washing over me whilst the waitress sat my plate down on the counter just in front of me.

"So, you're looking for Angel Myers?" Laurie questioned, digging into her own food in the process.

I nodded slowly, directing my gaze to the breakfast that had just been delivered to me. I slipped my fork into the soft pancake. "Exactly. So far all I really know is that she's definitely in Haddonfield- and she's Michael's sister of course." I scoffed at my obvious explanation before rolling my eyes.

"I just don't think I really have any way of finding out more about her. But you see... I have to find out who she is. I have a dead line." I finished with a tired sigh, leaving Laurie to take in my words.

The blonde nodded slowly, scooping up some of her breakfast and plunging it into her mouth, she swallowed silently before reciting a few bits of my dialogue that interested her.
"The library? Police? I bet they could have some information on her, especially if she's a murderers sister; don't you think?" She suggested.

My eyebrows arose and I leaned back, puffing out my cheeks and chuckling, "I am so glad I met you, Laurie Strode." I proclaimed, tilting my head and extending my hand out for her to shake.

It took a moment before Laurie realized what I was inviting- she swiftly raised her hand and took mine into her grasp. Once we felt contact we gave each other a shake of the hand and gentle smiles.

I like this girl.
Maybe- just maybe... By the end of all of this, once Angel is dead and Michael is happy... Laurie could be our third ever friend!

"Do you wanna help me?" I asked, resting my arm against the counter and fiddling with my fork. Laurie bit her bottom lip, clearly thinking hard about my offer.

"I wanna help, yes. But tomorrow? I have things I need to do later today so i'll be busy. Then tomorrow I have school, but i'll be free later afterwards if that works?" She explained, shrugging slowly, unsure of the scheduling.

She goes to school.
I know for a fact that Angel Myers is young, most likely around Laurie's age.

She has got to be at that school.

"Oh! Yeah no that totally works!" I blurted in excitement.
"Tomorrow is fine. Just make sure to look around for anyone under the name of Angel Myers, and if you find her- tell me." I demanded, forcing a sweet smile onto my face to hide my seemingly intimidating tone.

Laurie narrowed her eyes at me for a moment, a bit taken back by my request- my tone, is probably what did the trick there. However, she moved past it to continue the conversation,
"I'll tell you everything I know." She confirmed with a nod. Leaving the both of us to resume our breakfast, a chat ensuing soon after. Except this time it was simply about ourselves.

"So lets talk about something other than Michael Myers, hm?" The blonde suggested with a shrug, her eyes darting from my face and to my plate; my half devoured pancake lay untouched for the moment.
"Tell me about yourself?" Laurie asked, leaning forward and resting her thin arm on the counter.
