Threats

So, it's been a week since Bialia. Jane's night terrors have gotten worse, and she refuses to leave Dicks side. We took her to GCPD a few days ago to have her legally alive and adopted by me. That was a hassle, most of the time we where trying to get her to come out of her hiding spot. Her trust issues have gotten worse, what did those people do to such a sweet child? I'm brought out of my thoughts when I get a call. That's weird no caller ID?
"Hello?"
"Ahh, Mr. Wayne. I'm here to inform you that the Injustice League would like there property back. That little girl you adopted, she's ours. Kindly return her to us, or we kill your son. Your choice, our property and some money or the life of Dick. Goodbye now." They hang up, and I'm shocked. I'm used to the threats, so is Dick, but what's shocking is that this Injustice League wants Jane. I call the members of the League and the teens to a emergency meeting at Mount Justice. Good thing it's Saturday.
"Batman, you called us for a meeting?"
"Yes, I'm afraid we have a big threat."
"What is it this time?"
"There's a group called the Injustice League, and they just threatened Dick and Jane Greyson." Jane clings to Dick, looking very very afraid.
"Jane, do you know of this Injustice League?"
"Yes, Thalia talked about them. They are a threat to her fathers plans, they had a somewhat mutual agreement about me. They trained me non stop, then handed me to Cadmus to become the perfect weapon. A master Assassin, advanced enough to take down the League. I never fully cooperated, but I wasn't able to stop them from enhancing me. I never wanted this, I never wanted to become a weapon. After they failed with me, then they started on project Kr. Once they had a perfect specimen, then showed it to me, then put me back on ice. They never finished whatever they where trying to do to me, so now I'm only the perfect assassin for they manipulation. They told me lies and made me do things I never wanted to do, they told me my family abandoned me and that I was to get revenge by becoming a killer. I didn't believe them, I learned how to hack so I could find out the truth. I stopped obeying them once I found out they where going to take away my memories and make me a puppet." Jane is crying so hard right now, and Robin is holding her close to him. He gets very protective of her, it gets scary when a villain attacks her and Robin is nearby.
"Wait, you said weapon to kill us!?!?"
Jane simply nods her head while sobbing into her brothers chest.
"Surely you won't give her up. Since we found her, Hane has done nothing but help." The teens all love Jane and they all protect her, who wouldn't, she is so love able.
"We won't, but I need people watching over them at all times. These guys are apparently a real threat, and I'm not risking their lives." I guess people forget I have a heart. I love my adopted children, they are like me in a way, but I won't let them turn out like me, they'll be better.
"So, dose this mean Jane is going to Gotham Prep with me?"
"Yeah, I was already going to enroll her there. Since Bialia, Jane refuses to be anywhere without Dick." The ten nods, I guess they found her going assassin mode till she found Dick.
"Well, I'm going to need the team and some Leaguers at the event I'm having in two days. It's a fundraiser, and villains can't resist crashing them, no matter what we try." I shake my head, Dick groans, and Jane is taking deep breaths.
"Ok, well, I'll be there, Superman will be there, Gl's both of them should go, and then Artemis, KF, Superboy, Miss Martian, and Robin."
"GA, Robin will be there already."
"Oh yeah. Well, that's who will be there." I nod, Oliver Queen was already invited, so yeah.
"What about Soeedy?"
"I'll ask him, but I'm not sure he'll come." I nod, ever since the day, speedy has been reluctant to come.
"Well, let's get ready." We all disperse who'll the team is waiting for Jane to calm down completely.
"Jane, come on. Let's have Alfred make you some tea." She nods then gets up, Robin follows her. The team goes to get ready.
"Jane, we need to get you a dress to wear. What color do you want to to be in?"
"Blue!" She giggles, her giggle is so sweet and so innocent. It's adorable, it makes your heart melt when you hear it. We get back to the cave, and Dick and Jane go with Alfred. I go and order Jane a Blue dress.
Shopping for girls is a nightmare!!! It took me three hours to find Jane a suitable dress, three hours!! It's sky blue(like her eyes), the dress is a long sleeved knee length fitted dress, it's loose fitting(because of her bullet wound), it has a black sash belt thing, and I got her a silver bracelet with a sapphire bird on it. And black heels, I know a seven year old in heels. They are one inch, her hair will be up with a little crown. Alfred will help her do it, Jane is so sweet that I try to spoil her. She also has a traumatic background as I want her to be happy. She likes simple stuff, but knows when it's a fancy event, I get to say what's suitable for her. I need to give her her new hearing aids and contacts, she lost them in Bialia.
