The Uchiha slowly unlatched his eyes as a small light crept through the slightly open window. It had been years since he had seen such beautiful sight even for how simple it may had been.
Living in the shadow day by day, masked to be someone who he wasn't were things that took an incredible weight on his back. He had seen many people die before and now he was the cause of their deaths as he swore to protect all those whom he cared for but that promise slowly faded away.
Witnessing the horrendous view of the person he loved being killed by the one friend that had swore to him would protect her crushed the boy's will completely. The world as he knew it now was something far dark and depraved.
He was a naive child, thinking he knew everything at such a young age as he accepted an offer that would take a drastic change in his now twisted life. The years of hard work he had put into making sure his plan would become succesful slowly crumbled to the ground as he discovered the painful truth of the situation.
The damage had been done, blood had been spilled, people had died in the hands of two monsters that were once human too, in some way their past had always came back to haunt them for the monstrous things they had done.
But nonetheless second opportunities were things that once in a lifetime came to be, few people could amend for the mistakes they had done but sometimes these second chances were just far away dreams as not everyone could reach that slowly dying light.
(.....)
The Uchiha slowly rose up as he directed a hand behind his now aching head. Was this really happening? With a faint mumble streams of tears started dosing down his damp red cheeks.
The hand that he had behind his head was now trying to make those tears disappear. "Shinobi don't cry" he thought to himself as he made small hiccup sounds trying to calm himself down.
If this meant he could amend for his past mistakes, for everyone whom he had hurt and for the disasters he had caused in his previous life this last chance he was given was something he couldn't take so lightly.
This also meant his comrades were still alive and well, he could still prevent everyone from meeting a horrendous end as they had many years ago.
He didn't want to feel alone again, he didn't want to feel empty like he had before. Feeling alone in such a big world can take an enormous big weight on someone's back and in the worst of the cases submerging them in endless darkness and despair.
He had one goal, he would construct a world of peace and love, where no one fought amongst themselves and wars were something rare, but most importantly he would construct a world where Rin existed as well.
This Plan had taken the life of many, and those who colaborated to make it happen were just lost souls that didn't know any better. After years of hard work he finally had what he desired only to be crushed again with the painful truth.
He had been nothing but a pawn working for Uchiha Madara the man who was responsible for everything that had happened to the raven haired boy. This "Reality" in which he lived was something he called Hell he wanted nothing more than to be loved and have people who made him feel at home, but things don't always go the way you desire.
The light that had been dying inside of him had been lit up one last time, The silhouette of the boy who led him out of the darkness the one who had no parents and still smiled no matter what called him friend as a big smile was planted across his face.
Sometimes believing can be hard, sometimes loving can hurt, sometimes living kills you slowly, but having people around who support you no matter what the situation is, it's enough to feel at home.
The Uchiha hadn't felt that sensation in years, after all he still had people who cared for him he still had his childhood friend and this boy who reminded him so much of his past self, he remembered saying he would become hokage one day, he remembered telling Rin to watch him until the end.
And so she did, she watched until the end, and gave him one last chance to rewind and live through the things he had missed so long ago.
(.....)
The boy wiped his tears away as a small smile appeared in his face, this time he would save all of them and aim for that dream he had abandoned so long ago.
With a small motion of his before trembling feet the raven haired Uchiha slid off the bed and stood up examining his surroundings making his way towards a wall placing a hand in the slightly peeling paint.
With his other hand placing it on the left side of his face not being able to feel his past scars, it was a weird sensation. "This time, I'll make it right"
The boy whispered remembering what had happened a few hours ago.He remembered this place, he remembered all the happy memories he had shared there and who he had shared them with.
The boy glanced over at the clock as his charcoal eyes widened sending a shiver down his spine, he was going to be late yet again.
Taking quick notice of this almost tripping over each hurried step he took managing to get to the door the Uchiha sighed as he slid his orange goggles down, how much had he missed them.
His body moved on its own as he opened the wooden door letting a gasp out of his mouth followed by a chuckle. He had missed the lovely view the place had to offer dawn rising as the sun peeked through the buildings leaving a tint of crimson in the morning skies.
The boy observed in awe, the birds chirping and children running around the village with smiles across their faces, the morning breeze making its way towards him moving his loosened jacket and raven hair.
Motioning his feet to walk the Uchiha observed around the place as all the memories he had shared there made their way over to him, everything he had gone through, his past slowly arising back as he suddenly started feeling guilty.
Walking around he spotted two familiar figures, instantly feeling his cheeks beginning to get heated realising who the two were. "Rin"
The boy mumbled as he placed a hand over his chest feeling his heart race faster by every passing second."I hope you have a good excuse this time"
Spoke the silver haired Hatake as his brow furrowed whilst having crossed arms, and all of a sudden everything came back to him, his old teammates going on missions, Kakashi scolding him for being late as Rin tried telling him it was alright."O'y, Bakashi"
The teen spoke making the two listen closely to what he'd say next. Swearing he would become stronger this time, stronger to protect them he wasn't going to sit back as their lives perished for the second time."I hope you're prepared, this time I'll surely beat you"
